No, they are shutting down a few of the parks though like they did to Astroworld in Houston....One of the parks damaged in Katrina may open back up, but not too likely along with others.

Paramount ( ex. Kings Island) just sold their parks to Cedar Fair.

It is rumored that six flags took on too many parks in one period of time instead of focusing on making few the greatest they kept buying and buying..... Some skeptics are saying that this will happen to Cedar Fair too when they take over Paramount parks, but this is only a rumor.

I read around 6 parks were closing. The only one I remember is Buffalo, NY. Six Flags New Orleans has not reopened because of the extensive hurricane damage last year.

They've sold a few parks from time to time. I know they sold their Ohio park to Cedar Fair a couple years ago, and shut down Astroworld last year.

I heard that they were in debt, therefore would probably sell its parks or go bankrupt!
