And I am not talking about the kiddie ones either. I am talking about the big ones, or the "grand" carousels. Has anybody ever had this "bad" feeling, you go over to a carousel to ride it, and it seems as though you are doing something childish, like something that's going to get peoples attention in the wrong way.
Or, do you just go on the carousel, ride it, and hop off like nothing happened? 10 points for the best answer!

I think the big carousels are meant for everyone to enjoy. I don't feel silly at all riding on them. It is a very peaceful ride actually. One time I went on one and it was really fast I had to hold on for dear life, so there was no way that was meant for kids. I also see people going on elephant and camel rides. Its fun and as long as there aren't any weight or height restrictions everyone should feel free to enjoy them. Its the simple things in life that mean the most and if it brings a smile to someones face, it is definately worth it, for the young and old.

Lord NO! Never feel embarrassed for loving to ride a carousel! They are soooo much fun and bring back so many childhood memories! Noone should ever feeled embarrassed by that! Everyone has a small amount of child in them no matter what the age!!!! Enjoy it life is wayyyyy too short not to

Why should you feel embarrassed about hopping on a carousel at an amousement park? I do it all the time. I find it extremely relaxing after going on all those rough rollercoasters and rides. So what if you look absolutely ridiculous riding with all the little kids and thier moms and dads.

Not really. Im scared of all the other rides and i still want to have some fun. Although its a little funy when your absolutly the only one on the ride and not more than ten feet away a five year old is climbing onto the big rocking ship. Its also a little funny when the operator does the chek then asks where your kid is and when he realizes there isnt one he proceeds to tell you to hold on tight. lol

If you spend a lot of time worrying about what others think, you are wasting time you could be spending riding that carousel.

i do feal embaressed, sometimes. but occasionally i like to see how many strange looks i can get from people i don't know, and some i do know. i will sometimes get onn the kiddie ones just for the strangelooks, and the snide coments. i don't like getting positive attention, because i am afraid i will get a big head and cocky, so like to see how many strange looks i can get. in high school, when we take trips to places, and are in a big city, the two sides of the bus divide into teams and see which side can get the most waves from people, when we waved to them. on guy flipped us off. it alot of fun, try it some times with a car full of your buddies.

i love the carousel. get on and enjoy. everyone likes to act like a kid sometimes. i dont think anyone finds it weird and if they do its there own loss because there missing out on the fun. dont give up what you enjoy because you are worried about what others think. live your life. :)

I hide in the carriage thing they have
Usually, I take one of my nephews or nieces on one
And, someone snaps a photo and he is all smiles and I have a big puss on my face...it's quite funny
