When i put a game in my ps2 it works fine until it gets to the part right after the big PLAYSTATION 2 comes up, then it starts jiddering and makeing this grinding noise. Can you help me?

I can't seem to get past the fifth level (Cave of Wonders). It is the yellow monster with the knife/sword and it breaths fire. I only have so many apples left, but they don't seem to work either. Does anyone know how to beat this level? It wouldn't let me go past it without killing the fire-breathing monster. Please help me. I know this is a old game ('92) but I would greatly appreciate some help. Also, cheats online don't seem to have a way of getting past the level. They have nothing with the monster. I've tried all of the game cheat websites.

Hi! I have 10 skeins of Lion Brand Boucle' yarn, and I'm looking for a sweater or coat pattern that I can use this yarn to knit with. I found one sweater pattern at Lionbrand.com, but I didn't really like it. Does anyone know of a pattern that I can use, or even substitute with this yarn? I'm 24, and like something a little longer (not into the short shirts)

I am seriously bored. I will be bored this whole Christmas break (a month).

I've been coming up with stuff to do. I like arts and crafts stuff. So I made myself a nice calendar. I also made really nice Christmas cards for my boyfriend and my parents.

I have colored paper, markers, ribbons, etc. Just little things.

Does anybody else have any other ideas like these? I don't want to make a photo album scrapbook or anything. I don't want to go out and have to develop pictures and everything. Just something simple and cute... and everything is here at home.

Okay. Looking for the nitty-gritty on the Wii vs Gamecube compatibility.

1) In looking at game prices (this is my first system), it appears that the Gamecube prices are lower than Wii. So if I pay less, I lose just the Wii-mote playablilty?

2) On the GC controllers. Does the "Classic Controller" for the Wii COMPLETELY take the place for the need for a REAL GC controller? I see that the Virtual Console games say that the Classic Controller will handle ALL games that are for the VC... but what about DISC BASED GC games? Am I forced to buy a real GC controller too?

Can't wait to open that Wii tomorrow! Rayman, Marvel, Sports, Call of Duty3, Monkey Ball and Rampage - I AM SO READY!
