Well, if this happens to all the games u put in the system, then ur ps2 has problems that u cant fix if ur not a machanic or some sort of technition that knows about the parts and stuff..

If I were in that situation, i would have it put in the shop to get repaired or just replace..

The same thing happened to a freind of mine. I think it's the game your using. It could be scratched and it wont get passe the PS2 logo. In worse cases it's the disc drive. Try a different game and see what happenes if it still doesnt work go to a game store and find a repair guy.

If you bought it from Sony directly, (with a credit, debit card, or checking account,) then they will have your purchase on record. This happened to me with my PS2 when I had it. What we did, was contact Sony Customer Service Department, and explain to them how many games you have bought for it, blah blah, etc. Just explain to them that you are a very good customer, and that if they do not allow you to send it in for a free repair, that they will be losing a very valuable customer. Thats what I did, they checked our records, and said "Send it in, we'll fix it for free & ship it back" and guess what: They did. Hope it works for you, too. Merry Christmas!
