turn on the console and controller.
press the little button on the top of the controller, between the bumpers.
now press the little button on the xbox, next to the memory card flaps.
now your controller is set to your xbox, you wont need to do it again. just repeat for extra controllers, its all in the Manuel.

You may have to configure the controller to the console. Turn on your controller and if the lights just keep flashing then go to your Xbox 360 and press the circular button by the memory units and then press the same circular button on the top of your wireless controller. This way the Xbox 360 knows that the wireless controller you are using is meant for it and not another console.

You have to hold down the button in the center of controler, the button with the x box logo on it. you can also use this button to turn on your x box 360
