i really hope my cocktail party goes good, because what if they pick up a finger sandwich, get a drink, and say "what do we do now? were done eating!!!"
-because my guests HONESTLY don't know the meaning of socializing &mingling. trust me, it happened B4. we were having wedding w/25 ppl, a cocktail party, and my aunts (all o them) picked up some finger food and said to the bride,

"what now?! were done eating! are we just supposed to stand here? our feet are tired!!"
(i cannot change my party. its cocktail for sure.)

Have you ever heard of peep wrestling? It's when you take two differant colored peeps, put them in the microwave, and set it on for 1 second. The peep that overpowers the other is the winner! Fun to do with little kids!

My sweet sixteen is almost here, but there's a lot of confusion about what type of food to serve. We're planning to serve mainly Indian food, because Im from India, but not all the guests are Indian. I was thinking of a more generalized menu, something consisting of Italian, but Im confused about what type of dishes to go with, like pasta or something

My two female roommates have been so sweet to me and they always help me out. On Valentine's day, they baked cupcakes for me so I feel like I owe them a favor. I thought about making an easter basket for each one of them but I don't want to make it too childish- but cute is great! They are both 22, what kind of things can I put together for them? Thanks!

I'm planning on a romantic dinner, tomorrow where I ask a lovely lady to be my gf. Already have decided to make a salad and some fettuccine for desert maybe some strawberry something. have a bunch of floating candles in the pool ( its going to be on the deck, overlooking a view of the city) and some music. but for some reason I keep getting the feeling I'm forgetting something! Any ideas on how to create the perfect atmosphere?
