Hehe, no joke. I seriously baked musk rat meat into some brownies. Do you think anyone will notice at my crazy party tomorrow night? Its an average sized batch of brownies, with about 1/4 pound of meat.

I'm so tured of the gardening, wine, margarita, date night typical silent auction baskets. I need to assemble one for a fundraiser but I want to do a show stopper! Any suggestions? Thanks!!

My daughter turns 13 this weekend and is having a small party. She is not a cake-and-ice-cream fan, and in fact is pretty picky when it comes to any dessert food. Any unique suggestions?

My friend is coming home from Iraq in July and I was wondering what are some good ideas for a welcoming home party? He's a big partier and loves a stiff drink so should I just throw a HUGE party with all of our friends and neighbors or just keep it low key?

And if you do, would kiwi and lime jello be a filling that would appeal to you?

I am an apartment manager in downtown Denver. I try to hold community events at least once a month for all of my residents, but I'm running out of ideas.

Details: Most of my residents are professionals or students, age range around 21 - 40, but I don't have any children living there. We are a historic building, so I don't have a pool, community room, or any large gathering space - I usually hold my events in our apartment model. At the most I usually get around 50 people to show up. I can serve alcohol and food, can't barbeque or do anything outside.

My daughter's fifth birthday is coming up soon and she wants it to be rainbow-themed. Since it's also her golden birthday, we want it to be extra special. I was going to include multi-colored things like skittles, rainbow jello, and rainbow sherbet. For a game, I thought it might be cute to follow rainbow clues to "find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow."

I thought these ideas were cute, but I'm wondering if I'm missing anything really awesome that might be not-so-obvious. Does anyone have any other ideas I could use?

My daughter would like to have "The Cat" as her theme for her 10th birthday. What would be a good cake to make to go with this theme? I like the one in the picture, but I don't know how to make that thick ribbon look with the icing.

This is the link to the supplies we are buying, just for reference. Any ideas would be so helpful!
