I would suggest for cheap things to cut out many stars from construction paper and hang them everywhere, with silver, gold, and black balloons. You can also decorate with Christmas lights, that's always cute. And have the guests dress as their favorite movie star. You could also buy some red fabric and set it in a long hallway for the red carpet effect. You could even make a guest book with stars for people to sign inside.

Also, many prom decorating sites could have some good
decorations.

Any party store should carry the required decorations and costumes if desired. I would just look in your locale phone book for some party stores and see what is available in your area. If you have plenty of time consider ordering the stuff online, you might can get more of what you want and at a better price.

Check if you have a party store (i.e Party Packagers, Party Mart) I got stuff for a hollywood party too, it was so kool since we all dressed up in red dresses and tuxz. Have Fun!
