if you mean what is a guest then that is a person who pays to stay in a "guest house" or "hotel"and pays for the privilege of being looked after . If you mean "what are guests" then they are the same as above but just a few more people.

This could also mean you invite a friend to your house for a meal - they would then be your "guest".
