So Im beginning to plan my 18th Birthday party. I plan on having a large group of people, unsure of exact count. This is challenging because I'll have my family, friends from church and school attending. I dont know what kind of "activities" or things to do.
I could have the party at my house but would rather not. Somewhere inside because its in February, it maybe cold.

Where should I have the party? What should I have at the party? Im not into getting crazy drunk. No alcohol will be served. Im clueless. Please give me some advice. Thank you.

My party is not until December, yet 27 people have said yes already and at this rate my party will be huge. I am already fixing dinner with pot-luck appetizers and desserts. There is a variety of people. Is mingling sufficient or should I have games?

I'm feeding people from Mexico , the U.K , and India and Ky. and Ohio and Tenn. I was planning to serve some tortillas ,and salsa verde with the turkey , flan .I'm looking at some Indian bread recipes , would like to know if there is a condiment I should have on table for Indians .but I have no clue what Brit's might like ,maybe a desert thats common to them or do you think I should just stick to traditional American and family favorites.

I'm pretty much a homebody, but would like to improve my social life and make new friends. What type of gathering can I give at my home for five women or less? I've thought about a tea party, but I'm not sure that would be best for people who don't know each other very well, since tea parties are usually more intimate for close friends. So I'm looking for something that would be fun, and would allow everyone to become more familiar with each other. The guests will be associates I see regularly in other settings such as church, gym, neighbors, ect. Hopefully I'll click well with one or two of the ladies. Thanks

We were hoping for a game that would be good for:

A group of people ranging from ages 15-50. Two 15. Four 21-26. Four 45-50.

Not a lot of movement. Charades is not an option, because on person had recent surgery and cannot move well.

We play after thanksgiving dinner. (Does not have to be seasonal.)

Thanks So Much!

Question....

I'm an Event Planner, and a new client has asked that we provide food and decoration for her wedding reception. Problem is, her theme is 'French Circ 1800's' :-/ I tried first doing research on the net to get an idea of what this would be, but have found nothing. My next step is the Public Library. Would anyone know what a French 18th Century wedding would entail!?

Thankx

Does anyone have a good recipe for rolls? My Husband and I will not be arriving in our home town until 24 hours before our wedding reception and we will still need to make some kind of bread. I am looking for something that is either super easy to make or super cheap to buy. On top of being either cheap or easy it has to taste amazing too. Can any one help? If you have ideas please give recipes.

I am looking for a affordable party for my friends and I. We are in our mid 20's and looking for a great party. A party that has dinner searved will be great be not necessary. Open bar is necessary, a party within a hotel is key, but I guess we can deal without it. Let me know!!!
