Personally I think it sounds good. I like sweet and salty mixed together. Lots of trail mixes are sweet and salty. There are also candy bars that mix the sweet and salty.

The only problem I can see with the mix is that the m & m's
might fall to the bottom of the mix because of their weight compared to the popcorn. You will have to be careful about this.

I've had that mix before! It's really good. I didn't think it would be, but I tried it, and I'd definitely have it again. The contrast between sweet and salty is perfect.

I think its a great idea, you should put colored plastic wrap around them and label each one with a persons name. I would use chex cereal, pretzels, m&m's, maybe lil marshmellows and perhaps raisins . You could also mix in white chocolate and milk chocolate chips for added yumminess!

Good luck and happy holidays!

Actually, sweet and salty go very well together. Are you giving these as party favors? Not a bad idea.

M&M's don't work with the others. Try to decide whether you want sugary or salty snacks. Don't try them both in the same bowl.
