You can find wedding decorators from online website such as weddinglenox.com, weddingsolutions.com, and wedj. Unlike most yellow pages, they have price comparison for the decoration on the location you can choose.
One problem I had with my wedding is that it is hard to locate wedding vendors in most website as most likely they group by states and there are too many of them that's too far from me and I have to look at each site to figure out.

You should think outside the box - don't just think flowers. For instance - for my son's wedding in October - we glittered pumpkins and set these on crystal candlesticks and they were beautiful for the reception tables. We hollowed out pumpkins and used them as vases for floral arrangements. We used curly willow, cattails, etc in the arrangements, as well as fall leaves, gourds, etc.
If you are having a winter wedding - use evergreen boughs interspersed with candles for a twinkling beautiful arrangements.
If you gave us a few more details - like colors, time of year, theme - it would be a lot easier to give you suggestions for decorations.

Hydrangeas are a good centerpiece. You can get inexpensive vases from Michaels and fill them yourself with the flowers. They look professional and are soooooo much less expensive. They are very "wedding" too.

no flowers (except bouquets) they are overrated and too expensive. instead, head to Michael's craft store and buy ribbon and things that go with your theme. (Mine was fall, we got leaves and tree stuff)....then bug your family and friends for cool vases they may have. Take a hot glue gun and make vases with your friends. put tea lights in them for the wedding. it's fun, they are pretty...we let guests take them home from the table!

Lots and lots of tulle netting, draped everywhere. Covering every surface, draped on table edges and walkways, stair railings and chair backs. Cheap and gorgeous.
