I just bought a bottle of Everclear (the 190 proof bottle) and I just cracked it open and took a whiff and I do not want to drink this stuff straight. Plus it has warnings on it to use a mixer, what should I use?

How to make an inexpensive alcoholic punch for the holidays?

I'm throwing a little Christmas Party for my friends and I. I want to make like a "death punch". I just don't want to have to buy out the entire liquor store to get the ideal punch. I want it not to taste strong but actually be strong.

Australian wine to go with chicken?

A friend of mine is making Pollo en Pepitoria (a kind of traditional Spanish xmas chicken recipe) for dinner tonight and has asked that (as an Australian) I bring some Australian wine.

What is something (in the range of maybe £10 a bottle??) that would go well with this?

Red wine drinkers, do you think you have given whites a fair sampling?

How many varetials have you tried? Have you tried really nice whites, a Sancerre, an aged Riesling? Would you spend the same amount on a good white as a good red?

Scotch for a gift (under $250)?

A very close friend is turning 40 next month and I would like to buy him a nice bottle of scotch. I'd like to stay in the $200-$250 range.

Please respond with not only brand, but year and what you would consider a fair price.

By the way, I live in the US, so that might narrow down some of the choices.
