All do. They turn into vinegar. Drink up and drink fast.

Hi Scott. Yes all wines go bad after they have been opened. It's funny because the basic idea especially for red is to open the wine, decant it if it's a wine that is complex such as bordeaux, shiraz, some merlots and pinots and let it breath in the air so that the tanins relax and don't tear a strip of the surface of your toungue. Giving wine the air it needs to become more palatable in effect begins the process of the wine becoming a fancy unusable vinegar. To help extend the life of any wine, reseal it basically and consume it the next day. Bon Appetite

It takes a while for wine to go "bad"...but wine loses it's flavor characteristics pretty soon after the bottle has been opened due to air getting into the wine.
You can slow this down by vacuum sealing the bottle (most houseware stores sell inexpensive kits) and/or putting the bottle in the fridge.
That being said...both options only work temporarily and my personal rule of thumb is that wine opened on day one, has to be finished by day two...or used for cooking.
Box wine is a nice alternative to bottled wine...and in the States box wine is starting to gain some supporters from the wine snob community. Because the box is sealed with a plastic bag...the box typically keeps air out longer, thus allowing the wine to stay fresher longer.
Enjoy!!!

Most will, some can keep for years without turning others a matter of a week or 2, it all has to do with the air that gets into the bottle... if you are looking to keep something for longer, invest in an air pump to remove some of the air from the bottle before putting the cork back in, and keep it refrigerated that can prolong the life just a little bit

Wine does start to go bad as soon as you open it. I have never had an open bottle for over a week so I don't know exactly how long it takes. I know sweeter wines last longer after they have been opened. But I am sure they will also start to lose flavor and qualit over time.

Certainly--you should drink wine shortly after it's opened. If you buy a good wine sealer vaccuum pump thingy, it will last another day or so, but left unsealed, wine will go bad overnight.

All wines start to deterioriate after opening and exposure to oxygen therefore it is best to consume as soon as possible after opening. Wines kept in unopened containers however will keep indefinitely.

depends on how much is left in the bottle, and the temperature in your home as to how long you can keep it after you un cork it. usually i would try to drink it within a 2 weeks.
