please please please help!...i screwd up..im such a ******* idiot!!..i was talkin to my ex n she said she was gettin really bored n stuff n her parents were goin outta town for 2 days n they were askin if she wanted to come with..i din realize n i didn say anythin..n then after 5 mins she decided to go wit em..n then after half an hour i realized n i asked her if she wanted to go clubbin or sumthin n she said well now its too late..u shudve asked me earlier..then i said so do u wanna go somewhere when u come back n she said no!!..what do i do!!..im a ******* idiot!..how do i convince her!!help!..please temme! fast! what do i do ?

My boyfriend moved halfway across the country to live in the same city with me (and there is nothing else here for him--it's a small town). After about four months of living here he became distant, said he doesn't require affection, told me I'm the perfect girlfriend and he cares about me a lot and then proceeded to tell me he doesn't want a romantic relationship anymore. He told me that I am basically his only real relationship ever even though he is 26. I don't think he's ever even had a relationship spanning more than a month or two besides me... I'm so perplexed right now because it seems like his actions and his words don't match. Any ideas here? How do you dump someone that you call the "perfect girlfriend?"

TERRIBLE! There might be some good relationship advice buried in that article, but the tone is so condescending that I can't swallow it. I like to think I have a good sense of humor, but this just seems like reverse sexism to me.

Any thoughts?

My ex of 4 years dumped me for someone else ( they were texting n stuff b4 we broke up) and denies it, and she thought that if we broke up that we would be best friends she said...."it will be the same just without the physical part" she thought i would still go over and all that stuff(movies, dinner ect.) and i tried being her friend for the first 2 weeks after the break up but it was to hard after that b/c she got a new b/f( the guy she was texting) not even 1 week l8r and didn’t tell me....anyways i then realized what she had done and so i cut all contact with her b/c i think she's just stringing me along and using me for when she needs a shoulder to cry on....she was so upset about this, mad and sad, she would cry and tell her brother to tell me to talk to her but he’s on my side, cuz i wont talk to her even though she would ask me if we can talk and hang out about three times a week...and well she might also have wanted to b friends so she doesn't feel guilty? and EVERYONE that we use to hang out with ( including her best friend) says that she's changed and now nobody that we us to party with wants to b around her, anyways just wondering if i made the right choice about cutting all contact with her?
I love her so much but i believe this will be the only way for me to be able to move on ..THNAKS

It's like his tounge is too big for his mouth and I'm covered in drool....I feel like I just made out with a bull dog. ok heres the story, i secretly like this guy and 2 of my best friends really like him 2, but dont no i like him...so one day at friends 1's house me her and friend 2 were talking and friend 1 and 2 both agreed if either of them became the guy we likes girlfriend they would be mad at eachother [[didnt involve me cuz they dont no i like him]] and so last night i was IMing him at like 12 at night or am watever, and we have alot of the same interests then hes says ''y have u changed so much from last year to now?'' and i said ''idk y is it a bad thing?'' and hes like ''no its a good thing'' and we kept IMing talking bout things we like and im almost posotive he likes me...if he asks me out, wat do i say? friend 1 and 2 will be mad at me but i really like this guy! help!

This guy was leading me on for a long time and making me feel like we were dating. He was asking me to go on trips with him and even talked about taking me to the Grand Canyon. Then someone mentioned that he had a girlfriend. At first I didn't believe them, but then I noticed that he was dragging out the whole scenario without any commitment, and he was sending me a ton of mixed signals. I started sending him short, abrupt little emails instead of the long, lingering ones he was used to. Then he went away on vacation. I stopped emailing altogether even for weeks after he was back home. Now things are very awkward. He is playing friendly and people are still making like we're on the brink of dating. But I know different. Should I tell him what I know? Should I cut if off, or resume our usual routine in hopes of some kind of confession? What on earth is the best way to handle this?

There's this gal that I like and have told her how I felt last year, but she said she just want to be friends. However, now I feel that some things have changed. Yet I do not know if she likes me now. The following are what she showed today, although yesterdays she also showed some signs:

- There are more eye contacts but then when I'm talking to her pals, she's like pretending not to look at me, although she's between two of us.
- Yesterday and today morning, she asked me if I got elected as the chairman of the students council. This morning she congratulated me, but no shaking hand. The way she talks seem rather excited. She shook my hand after her friends did so too. But, in front of her pals, she didn't seem too excited.
- My pen fell down (I sat a few inches beside her) and she took it for me, bending down/forward to take it. I'd take it as a friendly gesture though.
- She always joins in everytime any of her friend teases me. Like saying that I should pay her if she lost the thing she left in class.
- She borrowed one of my music apparatus for her orchestra practice.

She's more talkative with other boys though.

I'm so fed up of boys treating me with so little respect!! im a 16 year old girl growing up in 21st century ireland and am so fed up with the way boys treat me and my best friends!we are all pretty young girls and have good personalities towards life etc...so its not us that has the problem!me and best friend esecially got dragged in to hanging about with a gang of really charming fun young lads from where we live...I think the only mistake we made was becoming emotionally involved with them because if we had have just stayed friends i think things might have been different!but they used their charm on us to win us over and use us for things including sexual activity!many will criticise this i know but they made us feel so special...and we enjoyed the attention!of course they didnt want anything with commitment but we wernt to know this..we are still quite close to most of them but i cant help but feel hurt and used at times...but they dont seem to notice this..why do fellas do this?!

from what I gather anyway...

Some people prefer to date one person at a time without considering that person their boyfriend or girlfriend until they are ready so that they have the opportunity to get to know the person without the distraction of other people, but still have the opportunity to end it without the commitment.

Other people choose to date as many people as possible at one time in order to find out what they like and share no commitment with anyone until that one person sticks out from the rest.

I'm the kind of girl who is decent and came from a very respected family yet I'm the kind of person who has her own mind and I don't really care what other people will think about me. I really have a molded personality. I wear make-up and dresses fashionably. I always speak what I think is right and I'm really opinionated. I noticed that some men are really interested in me but I can kinda tell that they only want me sexually so I tend to tell them that I'm not the kind of girl they can play with but when I show interest back afterwards, they tend not to make a move. What's the meaning of that?
