I believe that there are several people who could be your soulmates. Not just one.

Once upon a time, l had one... but her family and religion made it impossible for us to be together.

I've known other people that could be - but they were already taken - after settling for what they had in life.

Now, I'm on the search for one that is free to be mine...

She's out there! Several possible 'her'! I can feel it....

What does finding your soulmate have anything to do with movies? I'm not sure I understand the correlation between the two. Uhm...but based on my morals and standards, yes, I believe that everyone has a soulmate. There is someone out there for everyone, it just takes a long while, and a few sifting through the jerks before you stumble upon him. It's true when they say, you'll find him when you least expect to (and vice versa). My parents have always been married, never divorced, so I believe it is possible.

Why do I think this way? It's just how I've been brought up as a child. Since my parents have been together ever since, and I've never had to experience the emotional stress of a divorce, I feel like I can find that happiness and live happily ever after as well. It's not cliche, it's possible, it's hard work and you have to be willing to stick to it for loves-sake.

Did that help?

I dont think everyone has the soulmate idea. Yes i think there is a soulmate for everyone, I just think some people settle for the first one that touches their heart and thats it.
Some people dont believe in it because they dont want to wait and others just dont care, because they havent felt the soulmate love yet. Weather you beleive or not one do some how you will find your true soulmate and you will know it, it will be free following, uncontrolling and like nothing ever before.
I am just a beleiver in LOVE.
Good Luck and Hope You Find Your Soulmate.

I hope that i do.. Unfortunately, as i found out the other day, the soulmate thing is flawed - My boyfriend is now calling me 'the one' - but he's not 'the one' for me =/ I think that it could be true if both people feel the same, and express their feelings truly.. But if you think about it, what are the chances of meeting your one true soulmate with the number of people there are in the world?? Is it not too difficult to think that of all the people in the world, for instance, the guy you live next door to is your soulmate? I'm starting to think that you just find someone you are compatible with, and accept them for who they are.

Soulmate is a concept, created to fulfill your desires. Those desires and opinions noone can live up to.

And yes - it is also a concept used to sell because so many people would rather have things served on a silver platter than work a little themselves in a relationship.

If you find your soul and someone who has also your half way there. If you really care check out some free stuff on trans4mind then a year around someone should prove the case well enough. Learning all you can about you and them will keep you from making a mistake since emotional intelligence will make everyone think they are your soul mate and you might be fooled also. There might be some truth in it, but I think we function best celibate. lol I suspect our soul mate is us or the source.

A soul mate is something used to sell movies. Just find a person that you like to spend quality time with and don't worry about it being a "soul mate". Your actual soul mate...if there is such a thing...could be in Russia or not even born yet. Why can't people understand the logic in this?

Yes I do, I have known someone of the opposite gender for many years, there is an affinity between us that somehow binds us together, and odd though it may seem there has never been any romantic tendency from either of us, so perhaps there is a soulmate destined for you, who knows?

I believe that there are many "possible" soul mates for us out there. It's just a matter of finding someone who you are truly compatible with. read my 360 blog about the difference between cats and dogs for a comedic view of how I feel about this subject. I'd take up way to much space that could belong to some other worthy answerer here! :-)

I personally doubt it, it's something nice to tell somebody. Of course, when you're being romantic, all reason tends to flow right out the window, eh?

I say no because there's a lot of people I like, and people are different in varying degrees, but I still like them. I've loved each of my girlfriend, but actually, each for a different type, I loved how my first girlfriend was frank and philosophic, but I love how my latest one is quirky and a little bit shy. For this reason, among others, I doubt that 'true love' exists. It's all about making things you want to work possible. So get out there, love and see who loves ya back, haha.
