Singles & Dating - 18 March 2007

My best male friend and I have been friends for 2 years. WE are both 16. This year he flirts with me, calls me beautiful and when the school dance came this Friday and 3 girls asked him to dance he escaped them not to dance with them.
He was dancing beside our female mutual friend.. not holding hands or anything and then he saw me come in during a slow song and he just left the gym.....
I don't understand why he would do that? :S

I don't know if my man is cheating on me or not, but the girl who said he's messing with her is URGLY!-I spelled ugly wrong intentionally here to emphasize how ugly she is. & she's ghetto & project & young-looking with a baby, & she looks like she does drugs & smokes. I'm too intellectual for that.

ok here it goes he looks alot like today i passed him on the stairs and he looked over at me and i looked back and he just held it for a few sec. and then this morning i looked up at him and he stared back then looked away...but i dont think he likes me cause he knows i like him and has known for like4 months yea i know pretty pathetic..anyways his friend seems to know something because he nudges him and looks at me and then every now and then he leans over and whispers something to my crush and my crush will have his back to me almost like his friend is watching to see if im looking at my crush...this all happened today and a couple of other little things but before this week he started ignring me but a few weeks before that he was looking at me and his friends were doin what they are doing now...i try to ignore him sometimes and then other times i might make it noticable that im loookin but most of the time i try to just get one of my friends to watch and sometmes they see him looK

I went out on a date last night with this woman. She is gorgeous and I enjoy her company a lot. We went to a movie and there was really no physical contact because I was taking my friend's advice and just decided to play it cool and go out with her as a friend. When we got out the theatre, she wrapped her arm in mine as we walked. We got back to the car and drove back to my place and chilled and smoked for a little while. I told her that I like her and she didn't say anything. She gave me a shottie (for those non-smokers, it's when you blow the smoke into the other person's mouth) and she was the one who asked to do it. She told me that we're just friends, which I assume is technically right, but when she left, she gave me a kiss on the cheek and said..."Bye baby." Now, I later asked her and she said she doesn't call her friends baby and almost pretended to had forgotten she said it. So, I don't know if she likes me or not. She is a Cancer woman. Do they take things slowly?

Theres this girl I think likes me... and i think i like her too... but the only thing is i dont think shes that pretty all the time. I think shes pretty sometimes but not at other times. Is it ok for me to think so or does it mean i dont like her? I love her personality but i dunno should I take the relationship to the next level?

well theres this guy who i asked out a year ago when we never talked... and of course he said no.

...but then he started staring and then talking to me slowly and now i think he wants to ask me out or hang out or something, but im stubborn and will NOT make the first move again.

i only think he wants to ask me out because:

1. he keeps talking to me about random things for 10 minutes, like cereal.
2. he keeps talking about his altel my circle and how he needs more numbers.
3. he talks about movies in theaters and asks if i would be intrested in seeing them (not with him though, just in general) and etc.
some days, though he stares at me and does not say a WORD! i don't get it!

i really want him to ask me out, i never really got over him... but hes like shy or something? i don't even know if he wants to! but if you think he does, how do you suggest giving him a little bit more confidence in a modest, non-obvious way?

Why am I feeling so insecure about this guy I met and had a holiday fling with over spring break?

He is only a couple of hours away, and we've been in contact every day since I got back home. And yet, I feel like we're not clicking like we did in person. We've made no plans to possibly hang out again, and I want to see him but I don't want to be too demanding of his time or take a trip to visit 'just' him and scare him off. I really feel comfortable around him and we had amazing sex all weekend and I think it would be a wonderful thing to have another weekend like that. But, He's busy and I'm unsure how he views our short time together. And, he didn't respond to an e-mail I wrote telling him I didn't want him to think he was just a holiday fling...what do I do?

Well we have been good friends for quite a while now! He is 17 and i am 16. he used to wait for me every day after class, he would tease me, speak a lot with me, we would walk together in the hallways and most of all he would flirt with me alot.
He made new friends in a class and now he sometimes doesn't wait for me after class and most of all he is beginning to flirt with many girls.
On Friday, he kind of waited for me, but I was talking with another guy so he looked at me and just left.
This happened a few days after my jealous female friend made a joke to him that I have like 20 guy friends who are my lovers, but that only he mattered to me.....
I don't understand why did he become so distant?

Okay me and my ex was together for 4 years on and off! My thoughts 24/7 lately have been, am i ever going to get married and have children? I am only 21 and already I feel like my biological clock is ticking. So many acquiantences of mine are getting engaged and it's making me sad. I always beat myself up saying, if only I was skinnier, smarter, prettier, funnier, sweeter I would find a man. I have the lowest self esteem of anyone I know. I have even gone as long as two days w/o eating cuz i think I will lose weight and find a man. How does one go about raising their self esteem?
