Singles & Dating - 17 February 2007

Does anyone know I great way to meet singles, like a singles support group? Does it work? Pros and cons? I'm interested in trying them out this spring. Any other way to meet singles like cruises or other ideas would be great, and affordable?

I have a question, please help me with your wisdom. I was born in poverty and since I became 16, with God's help I have worked hard to help my family. My brother and I founded an Internet company, today I am 20 and my family is financially free.
When I had nothing, every single girl I asked out would say "no". Now that I am here with God's help, all these girls keep on bothering me and trying to get my attention. I don't know what is going on, its madness. What does money do to people? Its so hard to know if a girl really loves me.

My ex after over a year of dating we broke it in a bad way; after he said he needed a girl so I said go get her, even with that, we got back together months later for him to say what if he meet someone and we break up again. So I broke it up again; it is ridiculous. We continued seeing each other After a whole year and months he remained single only seeing me; then one day after starting to share napking, spoon, he held my hands and I let him. but after that day he was distant and different from before. He saw me hurt for 3 long months and ignored my question as of why do what he did to then back off? 7 months passed; he came to my home but then he will undo his pants from eating too much and fix the botton and belt and show his skin in front of me; I told him it was wrong; he scratched himself twice I told him not to do it here but he feels offended I said it about I see his skin. He deffends his position and does not care if he cannot come anymore; now he ignores me and is hard

ok theres two boys there names are lucas goforth and tanner reed...
ok i like both of them really much and there atitudes are totally different and thats why im getting confused ok.
Tanner>He's sweet, king, a forgiving person, pleasant, funny, charming, smart, and a really nice person and he can draw really good and i mean really good you could tell him to draw like someone on a tv show and he can do it.
Lucas>Ok hes sweet, funny, like me sorta but a boy version and we have alot in comman and he can be very nice to me but not anyone else.

He tells you that he likes you but cannot date. You stay friends, and he sends you a somewhat flirty ecard for V-Day to say he was thinking of you and REALLY enjoys your friendship. The next time I saw her she thanked me for the ecard, played footsie, spent time alone with me, held several conversations, and looked at me a lot. Okay, I don't know how to explain this but my gf and I have been together for over a year. She then broke up with me and later came back. Now she said she's confused. I asked her how much she love me and she said little. And few days ago I told her you're my sunshine and she replied you're not my only sunshine. I have been dating this girl for about two years she for the past few months has had extreem ups and downs in her mood. The last time she was in the mood for sex has 8 months ago im not sure if she is cheating or what but I just dont feel as happy anymore. So I broke up with my ex 2 months ago. But his mom and I are close so I still get rides with him to school. Now I could deal with him still sitting with all my friends, and following me around everywhere. It annoyed me but I could even still deal with him not telling anyone that we've broken up.

I've missed 7 days of school this year, 2 because of weather and 5 from being sick. Everyday of school I've missed because I've been sick, he's missed too, for the exact same reason!

I don't know what to do anymore, I mean that really bothers me. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've tried talkig to him but all he ever tells me is how his mother forces him to stay home.

I'm really lost of this one, good advice is needed please. :(

I have known this guy for awhile we used to hang out alot and have gotton close once or twice but neva no big relationship's. Well i havent seen him about 2 months and when i came back to my Dads in fl where i live. Ok, so one of my close friends broke up with this guy, who used to be crazy for her, he actually left like 80 calls on her cell one day! and now, hes like whatever he doesnt really call her and all that. Then, they broke up on Valentines Day. In the night, I discovered she went to her dad's office(in their house) and dark alot of different alchocolic drinks.. and she took 3 painkillers.. she didnt study for her test that was the next day. she says she took them because she hates him, but she says she isnt crying over him for some reason, she doesnt know why shes not "crying", u know what I mean? Anyways, next day in school she felt very sick, and went to the nurse and rested. Shes ok now, but her parents dont know yet. She says she wont do it, but I have a feeling she will. If our other close friend knows, shell probbly freek out, so Im the only one who know(other than u guys), plz help me what can i do? im really worried for her
