i asked out a guy and we went out on a date the friday before last. how long to guys usually wait to call a girl for another date? (factoring in that he said he had a good time and he'd want to do it again) but this guy...he hasn't been in very many relationships not to mention around a lot of girls that he could potentially become serious with.

it was funny...last week one of his friends came up to me me and asked if we were dating. i asked who he heard this from. he gave me this bs name with a lame excuse for why he didn't know his last name. i told him that we just went on one date. he then told me that that he'll ask me again in a three weeks. later on, i saw him talking to the guy in question.
what do you think?

He got me a pair of diamond earrings for v-day. I wasnt even sure if we were gonna do gifts this year, so I havent gotten him anything. Now I have no idea what to get him to compare to a pair of diamonds. Any opinions?

My boyfriend doesn't celebrate Valentine's Day because his Dad died on that day about 5 or 6 years ago. He was actually raised by his mom and had just started to develop a relationship with his father maybe a year or two before he died. I am not selfish at all and I've told him that as long as it takes for him to grieve I don't mind. So, we don't even bring up V-day at all, but what I'm wondering is what I should do to help him. Or what you would do in this situation. Most people say Valentines Day is a womens holiday anyway and I wouldn't really mind getting something but I don't want to seem insensitive to his feelings asking what about me. I asked him the other day what if I wanted something one day for Valentines Day and he was like what day?? He just kinda ignored the whole thing. He told me that he doesn't know how to deal with his feelings about that day or his father so he just doesn't talk about it. What would you do?

basicly we have been talking for about 4 months the only reason we arent going out is because we want to graduate from h.s before we get serious. we both care about eachother alot alot alot, and she is just confusing at times, for example one day she told me that she would stop talking to me and just drop everythign we have worked for if some other guy came along that was a bit hotter or w.e. and it annoyed me but its hard for me to udnerstand if she ment it because she was a tad bit drunk. so i dont know just advice please.

I finally got thie nerve to ask this guy I like to 'hang out". What actually happened was.. i text messaged him asking him that we should hang out soon and he text messaged me back ten minutes later... saying that he would like too, although it have to be in a couple of weeks, because that;s the next time he gets paid because he's broke as a joke" quote on quote.. so we conversated furthur and he revealed to me that he tends to be a bit shy when it comes to women because he's afraid or rejection.. and he has been rejected in the past.. I then asked him do he feel confident enough to try to get an attractive woman..and he said yes but usually he's not in pursuit .. or rather it depends on what mood he's in...How would you feel about this guy after this converation...I'm just not sure..I know that everytime is see him he smiles, and he's flirted with me and the past...but now I just don't know about him

My friend confuses me. He's asked me out and we have gone out a few times - BUT he mentions about his gf once in a while. He's asked me about my guy friends (any potentials, etc) BUT he's never confessed or anything of that sort. He's asked me to move to where he is - he told me how beautiful his whole place is BUT not how he will feel if I am there. He's treated me like a gentleman should (with occasional flirtings) and buys me lunches/dinners/coffees BUT he's still with his gf. Sometimes it does seem as though he's treating me like a friend. Sometimes it doesn't. I have tried asking him but he's done the roundabout version (i.e. being vague). Can I have your views please? Thanks!

I am Vietnamese and the girl of my dream is Caucasian. She is in some of my classes and I talk to her sometimes and she loves my jokes. I think i fell in love with her because she have that bliss classic beauty that every guy wants in a wife and when i say that she is not hott but she is beautiful. I know she's too good for me and only another caucasian can date her and marry her but I want to change that. She lives five houses down from me and own a beagle dog and I brought the same dog (My dog name is Oliver) just last month I purposely walked my dog by her and she bought her dog out and they began to play like boyfriend and girlfriend dog. We are both 17 years old and love our dogs. Her ex-boyfriend cheated on her because she wanted to wait til marriage to have sex and I told him to dump her and he did because he doesn't deserve her now she is vulnerable but I don't want to take advantage of that because I respect her too much. I have the most beautiful and sweet girl in the world right now...and I just can't keep kicking thoughts that I might lose her. It eats me up inside. I just don't know what I'd do if she broke up with me...and she is going off to college in the fall, and I somehow get this gut feeling that we won't be able to date anymore.....not only that, but in the summer coming up she goes up north for like weeks at a time. I constantly worry/think about the future and I just...don't like it at all. I'm constantly worrying if she likes another man, her ex-b/f, or if she is losing feelings for me. I feel like I've fall TOO in love.

Are there any remedies for this or should I just continue on.

will probably come of it? I was absolutely in love with this guy years ago, but things never lined up for us and we never got together. We made out once, but that's as far as I let him take it (I was only 15 at the time). I'm 19 now and he is 2 years older; we have kept up a light friendship, and we went out for coffee while we were both home from college on winter break, which was the first time we had actually seen each other in almost 2 years. I was hit with the fact that I was still extremely attracted to him, and he has told me (without prodding!) that he is still attracted to me as well. We are both pretty resigned to the fact that things would likely not work out long term, but we still can't seem to get each other out of our systems. So, is just having a fling for the fun of it all right? I don't feel guilty thinking of it; I just don't want to get hurt myself or hurt him. Any/all advice is welcome and appreciated!

My girl was eating dinner tonight and the server hit on her. He gave her his number on the back of a receipt, and was trying to hit on her the whole time she and her friend was there. Her friend said she was married, and my girlfriend said she had a boyfriend and yet he still gave her his number.

3 weeks ago my ex-bf called me & asked me to go see a movie with him. The weird thing is that HE was the one who dumped me, we only dated for one month AND this call came after one year. I said yes, he picked me up, then as soon as the movie was done he drove me home. It felt kinda rushed, on the drive home when I asked him why he wanted to see he said, "I wanna see you every once in awhile". We never had sex cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. During this year although he never asked me to see him, he did talk to him on msn. Is he stringing me along & what does he want? He's 26 while I'm 21.Some say he wants sex, but he knows my beliefs and he can get anywhere since a lot of girls put out. He could still have feelings for me but why won't he just ASK ME OUT again? Not ask me to “hangout” but I mean why won't he ask me to be his gf again, to really date again? I mean he's 26, he's graduating from grad school, gonna get his MBA degree & he's strating a job in June. It seems like he wants to settle down but why won't he just ask me out? What the hell is his deal?
