I have started to date a wonderfull woman. We both work, but she is a doctor and make a lot more than me. I've made it very clear to her that once I've cleared all my debt from a business I owned that went under, I will do just fine with the automotive company that I work for now. at dinner yesterday, she said that she wanted to start buying me some new clothes and update my style of dressing. She said, "I hope you don't have a problem with being a 'kept man' ". I explained thatI could never be 'metro' and I won't change who I am. What do you think about the 'kept man' comment?

My bf doesn't know the difference between being controlled (pussy whiped) and being nice to his girlfriend. ((((example: we were at a party & I wanted him to come home w/ me cuz we hadn't seen much of eachother, but he wanted to spend the night... He thought I was trying to control him )))) I put up with alot of ****, and he is so far from being "whiped" it's not even funny. He basically puts his truck, snowmobile and buddies over me, and I don't complain. He knows that sometimes I get irritated by it, but it's never because I ***** about it. I keep my mouth shut, and let him do what he wants... We only see eachother a few times a week, and he seems okay with that, but I want to be with him more... I don't want to break up with him because I love him... he just needs to get his priorities straight... do you agree?? I need outside oppinions.

Alrighty, here goes. Me and this guy dated for several months, three years ago. He had to break up due to obligations to his adopted daughter (she was having issues). At the time I always knew he would be back some day, and yep, he's back. We went for dinner last week; drank, ate, talked, kissed...the chemistry is still there. My question is, he knows how I feel about him, would he have returned if he didn't feel at least partially the same about me? It's been over a week since we went out and he hasn't called to talk about getting together again. Am I being impatient? It might be helpful to know that he is somewhat shy, a loner, and doesn't make fast moves on girls. I am tearing myself up over this with my insecurity. I don't want to lose him again.

I'm a sophomore in highschool, and there's a freshman girl I saw who I want to get to know. I haven't really talked to her, but sometimes we make eye contact in the hallways.

I have NO classes with her, and i only see her in between some classes.

Sicne it's just between a few classes, I can't really go up to her because she's with all her friends and we don't get much time to switch classes.

I wanna go up to her, but I can almost never find her during any of the breaks or in the morning or after school.

If I did find her in the morning or after school, how would I say that I've seen her around and think she's beautiful and stuff? It kinda sounds stalker-ish to me. But I'm not sure how else to put it.

In another question, someone said that I should ask if she dropped a note, and have it say liek my name, number/e-mail or something and just disapear around the corner and not to trip on my exit lol.

would it be wierd giving some1 a note who haven't talked 2 be4?

I just don't know what to do. Each time my mate and I go out, he expects for me to pay. He never reach for his billfold unless I just walk away and leave him holding the check. This has been going on for over a year now. At first I didn't mind because he was unemployed but now he has been working for nine months. When he has to pay the rest of the the night is very gloomy. But if I pay for the date, he is so sweet and loving.What to do?

I read it on the internet. I really love a girl and I want to learn to be a better man and kind man to have her love me. I would change myself for a girl. Don't tell me to be myself. Yes, I will be myself to certain extend. But I can also change myself too. So how to be a kid at heart. She is a kind girl and about me? Not too sure. Because I like her and she is a kind person, I would like to learn how to be kind. She is my inspiration. So in short, what type of person is a kid at heart? Last year i wasnt really all that pretty, mainly becuase my parents prevented me from doing lots of stuff (shaving, waxing, etc..) and i was a little fat. now im not. last semester a guy started calling me, and walking me to my class and stuff, and i thought he would be the only one. but now there is another guy doing kinda the same thing (except calling) and is hanging around me and my friends at lunch instead of his friends.then a week ago this guy that i barely knew existed started walking me to my bus stop but i sort-of shrugged him off. will guys always be doing stuff like this or will it stop later on?

Well, im 16 and have been with my boyfriend(who's also 16) for exactly one month this saturday. We exchanged the special three words by midnight of the day of our first meeting. he says that he wants to wait before we have sex(which is rare). and he's my first love. but he has a short temper and gets mad over any little comment. like today i was joking and i called him gay. he said i disrespected his manhood and would not accept my apology. i asked him if he was mad and he responded "no, im just mad at what you said. but im going to get even." i said are you going to cheat and he says"maybe." i mean since he has a manhood doesn't he think that he's disrespecting my womanhood by threating to cheat on me? and he does it all the time; bringing up girls from his past and giving me the silent treatment and just making me feel so bad. he says thats the 2nd time i've disrespected him, and that the third strike i'm out. does love strike you out over petty things like that? I am just curious to know how I should behave to my ex girlfriend who is now dating my roommate. I don't approve of it, but I have no say. Should I act friendly, indifferent, etc...?

I have been told to completely ignore her, is this the best course of action? To act as if she doesn't exist in my house.

Also, while I may not be indifferent, how can I appear indifferent to this situation? Any types of behavior I should follow?

O.k i say its time for a little action in my life i have been single with no mingle since like november and i say its time to get a boyfreind again. i've had my eyes on two guys a rocker dude kinda guy and a jock. Idon't no which one i should go for. The rocker dude guy hes really cute not gothic but kinda beachy like a not as hunky or hot hollister model. hes real laid back and really nice. Ok I'm a senior in high school and there's this girl I like. Last year I was a little to shy to talk to her. This year I'm talking to her a bit more and she's become somewhat of a good friend. Though I'm still a little bit shy around her. For example, I usually run out of things to talk about with her and there's that usual "awkward silence". Every time we go out we spend lots of time togather. When he starts to like someone else he goes and breaks my heart. When he knows that I love him more than anything. I love him so much but, I can't take it anymore. I'm just hurting my self more and more when I think about him. Everytime when he looks at me I start to cry because he realy hurt me and I just wish that I was with him. But i need to get over him fast because I don't wan't him to hurt me again. Hi, I have this guy friend I have known for 4 years now, we hang out a lot & I hang out with his group of friends often. There is this one guy there who I have always known very casually & never thought about much as he always had a gf. Recently, he broke up with her & this one night everyone went out & the both of us really hit it off. I was really glad but a little awkward too as I didn't know him so well. The thing is, since then we have met (its been 2 months) about 5-6 times but everytime I have called him up & asked him to meet up, he's always accepted, but never initiated or called me otherwise. We have a great time when we go out & recently he met a few of my friends who liked him too. We have not told our common friend as we are still unsure...but I don t know what to even tell anyone! He has never spoken anything out loud..so are we dating? or seeing each other or what? does he just need time from his last relationship? or is he using me? should I talk to him? what do i say?
