Sounds like you are about to allow this to ruin something good in your life. From what you say here she has obviously turned her life around probably for the very reasons you state. Her past is just that, past. She cannot erase it and she cannot change it. No matter what she does from now on that will always be her past. You have a choice. Get over yourself and forget about her past life OR forget about her and move on. It is not fair to her for you to keep holding this in your mind. It is stressing you out because you are letting it do so. What is the problem? Do you see her as damaged goods? Is there something wrong with her? You say you share a similar past so should people forever hold that against you? She is showing and proving that she lives a different way now, why can't you concentrate on that? If you cannot get over this you should break up with her because you are right your attitude will poison the relationship. I think that you will be the looser but if you cannot forget, you should let her go find someone who can love her for who she is today and not "obsess" about her "dead past".

You may or may not still have feelings for her, but the best thing to do is pretend like it doesn't bother you that she's dating your roommate and be friendly towards her. If you ignore her or are mean to her she'll just think you're immature and she'll have the satisfaction of making you mad.

Friendly but distant will drive her crazy. She will always be wondering what you are thinking. That is better than having a conversation about it. Let her just wonder. What about your roommate? Doesn't that bother you? That would bother me more than having to be around her because you will be around him all the time. Doesn't sound like a good friend.

Dang, that's just cold. Not only did your roommate do you in, but so did your ex. I wonder if she did it on purpose. Personally, I would be pissed. I may say that much, but I am wondering if she wants you to react. I say kick him out, get a new roommate and a new girlfriend.

Wow, That's cold. And I'm a female...lol Is she doing this to get back at you? I would say to act normal and try to not be home when she's there. It'll be hard if she ends up sleeping over or you hear them though. That's a tough one. Have you talked to your roomate to ask why would he do this to you? Maybe they could go to her place.

don't ignore her. be friendly but not so friendly that the roomate will suspect you of having feelings for this girl again. you shouldn't care that they're dating though. you're not with her anymore. you can make yourself indifferent by pretending she's not your ex. hopefully you've moved on from that, so just be yourself.

Dude, just get a new girl and forget the old one. So you see her once in a while at your house. So what? You were there first. If they end up getting married, that guy will always know that you know what his wife looks like naked.
