I have this boyfriend and we have been together for 1 year and some months but on and off.... I really care for him alot and we seem happy all the time. Except when we argue...but then we always forgive eachother..I dont know if it's truely love or infatuation? I love im alot and I can't see myself without him.. What is it?

I have lived in an apartment with my boyfriend for about 7 months. I am 21, and he knew i have Always wanted a dog. Now we CAN afford a dog. It would cost about $700 initially. This is for adoption fee, pet deposit, food, ect. My boyfriend just doesn't want to spend that kind of money (we have a joint bank account). He doesn't understand that this is unfair to me, because i have not made any of the financial decisions. He has already bought a $700 tv, $500 surround sound, $300 xbox 360, and a $1500 lap top. He felt that they were Necessary, and we bought them when we first moved out. I supported him, i know he loves movies and video games. Now he is Not supporting my choice. He says the difference is that all of his stuff was bought on credit, and most of the things for a dog need to be paid in cash. But we have the cash, i feel like he is just being selfish. I just don't know what to do! My limit on waiting for a dog is Up. I need a dog. How do i get him to understand this?

I am a guy and a senior in high school and I recently met a girl through a friend. This girl seem to like me a lot. However, I am not sure if I like her as she is very playful and I want someone who is serious. Even though she is not exactly the person I would like to date, we seem to get along. I thought that I should give it a try and see if it works out. On the other hand, I thought that I should just tell her how I feel so she backs away. Should I give it a try?

I just got robed by a few coloured guys. I phoned my fiance to tell him what happend and the only thing he could say to me was a swear word and then he just hung up in my ear... ive been with my boyfriend 3 years.

he is 27 and lives with his parents.
he wont move in with me even tho he says he is going to he just puts the date back all the time. 1st he said september, then november, then he promised the end of feb but now he says there is no way he can afford it for another couple of months so he is saying april. i just cant believe him and i dont think he will.

he wont get engaged to me untill he has lived with me 6 months even tho he says i am his world.

2 nights ago i tryed to split up with him. i explained how i feel about our relationship that i think after 3 years it isnt going anywhere. i said we should be friends or nothing at all.

he got upset and sulked a bit but he didnt understand what i meant. somehow after and hour of this we both ended up apologising to each other loads and hugging each other til we fell asleep.

i love him more as a friend than a boyfriend. he is like my best mate.

how can i make him understand this?

He is single.We were talking heaps and getting along great and then he went a bit quiet for 2 weeks and was deliberately avoiding me. Then we just started talking again and ever since we've been talking and he's been flirting with me. We talk and joke and he is the type of guy who will show off in front of me sometimes or make fun of others in front of me.Lately i've noticed that sometimes when i am talking to him he can't look me in the eye as much as he used to.If he gets the oppurtunity to talk to me he sometimes tries to keep it going but because i am so nervous i walk away and i have also seen him looking at me before .He does little things to get my attention like going to trip me up or teasing me. Do you think he is attracted to me or likes me?

O.k so my ex broke up with me to be with his ex of 5 yrs. Im not sure if he did or not. but it was like as soon as we broke up he was back with her. Anywho, we stil flirted and messed around (yeah I know its wrong). When i sat and thought about it. I told him i had to stop becuz its not be and its not fair to me since he knew i wanted to be with him. He and her are having many problems and he's admitted to trying to make it work with her. but we've always acted like we were together. He acts really sweet. When i told him this he said he understood. So I hung out with him and treated him like i treated my friends. he was quiet the majority of the time and didnt really look happy (he usually talks alot) and acted like he was in a big rush to get away from me. Told me he would call and he didnt. We're still cool. its just he acts unhappy now. I'm a short guy and always had problems getting girls interested in me. I'm muscled and defined but not extremely and i'm toned. My body fat level is around 10% and i have good abs (sixpack) well built arms, shoulders and chest and very much a v-shape torso through genetics and training.

NOw i was born in Europe and there girls never gave me a second look (mostly not even a first one). I think my lack of height (173 cm or 5.8 ft) was too blame for that.
After that i worked in Asia for some years (Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore) and the same thing happened again, albeit (maybe) for different reasons however i also think Asian girls go for tall. Could the problem in Asia be that i'm too muscled for them??

i have gotten some but not a lot!!!!!!!! He is everything to me. in some ways i am too shy to tell him but sometimes i think "just go and ask him out" the thing is he is too shy and i don't know what his reaction will be.

I have been seeing this guy for over 8 months now, and I realized that I have really strong feelings for him. It started as something very casual and light, and he cares about me and he treats me well. I am moving away for a job in August, and he and I both don't want to do long distance--so it is a relationship that will end sooner or later--should I make the best of it and make it last, or break up with him today? My heart tells me that I should make the best of it--because it would hurt me more to not be with him-- but my head tells me that I should break it off right now before I get too deep and can't get out without being hurt deeply. Which should I follow, my head or my heart? He suggested, after talking about it last night, that it may be best to see each other less. What would that do to our relationship? If we take "time off " or "see each other less" I can only see myself wondering why I am in this relationship with him in the first place. I am so miserable. Help.
