I 1st noticed him when I saw him w/ his friend checkin me out. I was also w/ my friend Doris toatally blowing him off like "Go ahead look, I know I'm hot but u can't have it." Awhile afterwards when I saw him I started noticing how super cute he was and so like now I am going all bajiggity(lol) over him. He stands across the cafeteria every other day from me and always looks at me and smiles, silently say hi or what's up, or he simply looks at me while talking to his friends. I do the same. When I 'm sitting w/ my friends. I'll glance over and wow what do ya know he's lookin back at me so I smile and so does he. It's kinda like we'r talking to eachother w/ our eyes. My friends have also noticed how much he checks me out. But when we get near eachother or have a chance to talk he does that thing were guys start acting stupid n kinda immature. Like one day he knocked skittles out of my hand and i got mad and he did a playful laugh. hahaha not funy I was gonna eat those.

I want my ex girlfriend back. But it seems hopeless. She wont talk to me, and I havent talked to her in 3-4months, but I miss her. Me and my girlfriend had a discussion of what true sexual freedom might look like – as in, a hypothetical world where people could agree to be together, but are ok not owning each other, std’s and pregnancies are preventable, and paternity testing makes sure the right guys are raising the right babies – and we had some ideas about what it might look like.
We know that men want to have sex with lots of women to spread their seed far and wide, but women invest more in their offspring and therefore are selective. This makes women the chooser in the sexual game. However, women what different things at different times. I’ve that ovulating women want square jaw, high testosterone hotties when they’re ovulating to give their children the strongest genes, but want a man with softer features who are more likely to stick around and be a good dad during the rest of her cycle. Studies show that women are pretty good at picking out between the two.
In other monogamous animals, like birds, females do the same. They have flings with high testosterone, usually younger, males, but continuously mate with life partners that have every reason to assist in rearing the chicks since it’s a good likelihood they’re the dad.

So what if we were socialized to accept behavior more in tune with these instincts? We were ok that some men get many short term partners at some point in their lives, other men get to be super dads and get steady sex – and maybe a fling or two if they can pull it off - and women get both the mates and flings with no regrets? I think a lot of people would be intimidated by this because if women could commit to a guy for the long term, but still fulfill her desires when nature calls, naturally, there would tend to be a some guys who got a lot of different women, and another group that generally got a steady stream of sex with one.

But is it realy so bad? And if you can put yourself it such a world, is it good for the guys? Is it good for the girls? And do you see yourself being in such a world, and why?

We have been dating for 7 years and living together for 4. He lied to me about a girl he was seeing and then when I found out (not the first time either), he basically left me to live with her for about three months. We gave up our apartment and now he is living on his own. A month ago he called and said he wanted me back, when I tell him I need time. He is 32 and I am 25. I still talk to him because I love him. He says that I am not gving him a chance and that I never really loved him, b/c I wont even meet him for a drink. But then calls back and says he loves me and then hates me. He keeps talking about other girls to me especially the one he left me for tonight he called and asked for his ex girlfriends phone number. I have had it. I am wrong for not giving him a chance when he rubbed my face in his affair for 3 months? I have not seen him for a month and he says time is up (but he keeps calling) but when he doesn't I cry? Why?

There's this guy that i really like, and im almost positive that he likes me too. But over break i think he found out that i like him, and since we got back we haven't really flirted or talked at all. When we talk though he is always very flirty. he doesnt want more children (he has one). we conversed on the phone about a handful of times. he asked my out to dinner and i accepted. while we dined, we began to talk about kids.(i have one too.) I brought up the topic of him not want to have any more kids. he repled "no, i want kids; i never said i that." my response, "i thought i heard you say a few weeks back you didnt want any more kid." he replied again "no, i never said that."

my boyfriend and I have been together for 2 and a half years. The past 6 months he's changed his ways. he no longer wants to spend anytime with me cause he says i Bi*tch all the time. He never calls me when he says he's going to. He wants to spend more time with his friends then with me anymore. I'm lucky if he'll even come to my house once a week anymore. He has said to me before that i'm retarded, and idiot, that i need to be on meds. ect.. and when I asked him to come spend some time with me at 11pm. he said it was too late.. But he'll go and take medication to a female friend of his when she asks him to at 2am.. even though he was there for 30sec.. he didn't tell me about it, I found out from someone eles. I trust him with all my heart and I know he wouldn't cheat. but we have been fighting and arguing for a while. so If I don't call him for a while and see if he calls me do you think he'll get the point? I want this to work but I can't do it on my own.. any advice?

I've been seeing this girl for two and half years. We get along well for the most part, but we fight over a lot of pointless stuff; a lot of tears have been shed on both ends. Sometimes I wonder if it's really worth it.
Then there's my ex. We dated three times in high school, but it never went anywhere. We didn't spend time together outside of school, we weren't affectionate towards each in typical fashions (holding hands, kissing, etc.) other than an occassional hug.
My ex and I still talk online on a failry frequent basis, and I think about her a LOT. I've heard her talk about guys she's been with, and I get a little jealous. She's changed a lot since high school and knows how to act towards a boyfriend. I'm pretty sure part (a big part) of me still loves her.
My current girlfriend gets too upset when I want to hang out with my ex in a friendly environment, and my ex doesn't act the same around my girl. I find myself going back and forth on what to do. What do you guys think?

Okay, I am currently seeing someone, lets call him Bill. Bill is a very interesting character. I mean he has so many faults and is far from perfect. When I say this, I'm talking like he's indecisive, he can be irrational, immature and unforgiving. But he has so many great qualities. He's strong, confident and sexy. He's intrigues me more than anyone in a long time. At the same time however, we run hot and cold and I am not sure if we are ever going to have a relationship together.
My point being, I care about this guy a lot. I haven't felt this way about someone since I was with my last boyfriend, and that relationship left a scar. Naturally I am a little uneasy about caring about someome like this again.
So I met this other guy and we've gone on a few dates. He's a great guy, but my feelings lye with Bill. He's just a plan B, something to fall back on to soften the blow should things go wrong between Bill and I.
Whats your opinion? Am I doing the right thing, or am I wrong?
