I've been seeing this girl for two and half years. We get along well for the most part, but we fight over a lot of pointless stuff; a lot of tears have been shed on both ends. Sometimes I wonder if it's really worth it.
Then there's my ex. We dated three times in high school, but it never went anywhere. We didn't spend time together outside of school, we weren't affectionate towards each in typical fashions (holding hands, kissing, etc.) other than an occassional hug.
My ex and I still talk online on a failry frequent basis, and I think about her a LOT. I've heard her talk about guys she's been with, and I get a little jealous. She's changed a lot since high school and knows how to act towards a boyfriend. I'm pretty sure part (a big part) of me still loves her.
My current girlfriend gets too upset when I want to hang out with my ex in a friendly environment, and my ex doesn't act the same around my girl. I find myself going back and forth on what to do. What do you guys think?

If you are thinking about your ex more than you think about your girlfriend then you should for sure let the woman you are with find someone who will love her as much as she needs to be loved. The fact that you can say you still love your ex a lot makes it beyond apparent that you don't want to be with your girlfriend. How can you blame you girlfriend for getting upset that you want to go spend time with a woman you are still in love with? Let your girlfriend go and find a man that will love her and her alone!

Get rid of the x. You and your girl friend are having enough problems. Concentrate on one woman and do something to strengthen that relationship. If you and your girl friend work on things a little you will have all you will ever need and want in her. It's up to you. Relationships are living, breathing things. They have to be nourished every day in order to stay alive and well. It doesn't just happen all by itself. Start working on really good communications. Talk about every thing and do it often. The lines must be open at all times. She actually grows on you. Make sure you know and understand if your needs and her needs are being met. You have to be honest in your communications. You have to understand that it's real and not a game. You have to become a part of each other. It's just not all that easy with anyone. No matter how much spiritual, lustful, physical and sexual you think you are with a woman in the very beginning, you will lose it within two years unless you work at keeping it alive.

properly i'm a westerner born and raised and a Muslim additionally. you are able to properly be the two. Being a westerner does not unavoidably propose you are able to desire to positioned on tight outfits and confer with boys and do with boys. while you're caught between 2 cultures this is a diverse ingredient than being caught between following your faith and residing a "western" existence-type. As a Muslim i might could desire to declare following your faith is what's sweet for you and you comprehend that too sister. Being a westerner isn't in direct conflict with your faith. while you're no longer doing issues you will possibly not at all do in a 10 thousand years then why concern approximately it? Be who you're. embody that. We dont stay for others and in the event that they think of you're extraordinary then it particularly is there lack of understanding. Allah does not think of you're extraordinary and in the top sister his opinion is the only one that counts.

either leave your current and be with the ex... it didn't work once... or cut off contact with the ex...

you could get yourself into an ugly situation where you'd lose both.
