Singles & Dating - 21 December 2006

My ex and I broke up because I thought he was verbally abusive. During fights he would swear at me call me names like ***** or c@#$ and slut, whore etc. He is VERY sorry and says it would never happen again but I dont think that a person who thinks its okay to say stuff like that really gets it.

Anyone have any opinions about this?
Guys.....have you spoken to awoman you say you love that way?

BTW it was totally uncalled for. There was never a fight that occured that would warrent it. One night he went offon melike that because I was looking out the window of a restaurant we were at and he thought I was thinking of someone else. I was watching the traffic.

Ok so I like this guy at my school he is a grade older than me.. My best friend likes his best friend. The guy that I like acts stupid all the time but is very popular and the guy that my friend likes is very serious all the time. These two guys are best friends. I these guys are very cute but just wouldn't ever go out with me or her. My friend's mom told us to leave notes in his locker like clues about us. We would tell them our self's but we are afraid it would ruin our reputation in scholl if they turned us down. So do you think we should just go for it and tell them or should we leave them clues so it would let them figure it out. We need help because we don't know what to do because if we don't do something now then they will be gone next year so we need to do something fast. I know that we can't make a guy like us. But please tell us what will be better. No stupid answers please thanks

ok i have been dating this boy for over a year and a half and one night i lost sight of who i truly was and cheated on him (aka made out with a relly good guy friend ot the movies) andi felt sooo bad that i broke up with this guy cuz i didnt have the heart to tell him that i had broke the biggest rule of our relatinship so he forgave me when he found out and we got back together and now all he ever does is tell me that i must prove to him that i love him by giving him head and sex and stuff like that and im not that kind of girl so he gets mad and tells me that i dont really love him and that he now cant trust me not to cheat on him again but i would never do that and now hes cheating on me and i am forgivin him cuz he forgave me but im askin him not to talk to this girl and he says that hes not gonna but i went to see him during luch at schol and he was with her and he said that was the only day but i dont know if i can belive him and now hes sayin that i cant talk to any guys but him

So I like these two guys, both older than me. One of them is just two months my senior. He's easy-going and makes you laugh easily. Plus, he's hard-working.

The other is fourteen (I'm in the 7th grade) and he's exactly the same as the other one except he's more of a class clown.

My bf is Russian (I am too), and I already got him a $20 shirt with a russian cartoon logo. It's a really personal thing between us, cuz i'm 1 of the few ppl who knows about his favorite childhood cartoon.
I did some "snooping around" and found out that he spent $30 on my present...I don't know what it is, and i want it to be a surprise, so I'm not being too dishonest.
I know that quality is more important than price, but I'll feel better once i find something for $10 to add to his gift.
Do you have any inexpensive gift ideas? nothing lame, maybe something funny..

and PLEASE don't criticize me for trying to match his price...I'm not asking for criticism!

I am male and 36 years old. I have a psychological disability. It involves social anxiety, anxiety attacks, depression, and inability to cope with stressful situations.

I've had a personal up online for over a year and telling about all of my positive traits, in a non-egotistical manner, has garnered very little response.

I'm beginning to wonder if allowing myself to be vulnerable is the way to go, by opening up and discussing the full details of my disability and how it affects my daily life.

Ladies, would you find this to be a brave and admirable thing to open up about in my personal, or would it have the total opposite effect on women and turn them off?

I'm 16, there is this guy I really like and he likes me too, I've known he has liked me for a week and everytime I see him I start to squirm in my seat and my face goes red and I'm a total reck! I'm afraid he won't accept me or think I'm funny if I just relax and be myself, but it's stupid I feel that way because if he started to like me when I was myself he should accept me now just the same.... I guess it's not acceptance I'm looking for then. But I need to know why everytime I see him I can hardly talk. I think I'm only pushing him away with the way I act. I like this girl alot and i think she likes me but whenever im around her i have trouble talking to her so she walks away:( I hate it because the only way i can really talk to her is through text message it's really annoying, now she is starting to talk to this other guy, she still smiles at me gives me hugs occasionally, but i still cant talk to her, I can see in her eyes that she gets sad when i don't talk but its not my fault! i think she is starting to question me..but i dont know.
