Singles & Dating - 6 December 2006

We both have been checking each other out for a while and have had very little conversation with each other over the past year. Anyhow, A group of us walked over to where the after party was being hosted. All of us except him sat down at the table (Seperate form the other co-workers). He dropped his coat and walked away. I assumed he went to the men's room. Two other girls decided that they would rather be at the bar and also left. So, I am sitting there with the rest of the people and expecting this guy to come back. After about ten minutes His boss comes over to chat with us at the table. So the few others that were at the table and myself were in the middle of a conversation when he returns and sits in front of me. I was trying to pay attention to what his boss was saying. Within a few seconds he got up and left again. After that, I got up to leave and as I am walking out I see him chatting with the other two girls at the bar. Now, I think he is pissed that I left.

I hate them one day and love them another. I might like a girl one day but hate her the next. I think about asking the girl out, and I want to be her boyfriend and love that girl, but then, the next day, I think, forget it, I want to be alone forever, and I think about how mooshy love is, and how I was a fool for wanting to love someone.. What is up with me? I don't think I hate love but I flip flop all the time. I am a teeneager, so is that part of the problem?

My best friend slept with this guy and he told her it was the best he ever had, but he won't see her again from some nookie. He talks to her, but not that much, but he stares at her something hard when she's not paying attention. He told his best friend that he had to keep it a secret if he told her who he slept with and it doesn't seem like he told anyone else. He doesn't want a serious relationship with anyone. I told her that she must have scared him or he just said that to her. Do guys tell girls this just to say it?

my girlfriend, she act totally different twards me when she is around her friends. her attitude changes, even her personality.
she tends to treat me that of a lesser person...is this normal for girls to put a front on in front of their friends?
when shes with me, is that really who she is?

I need some advice. I'm 26 years old, and very very very in love with my boyfriend. We've been together for almost 2 years and I couldn't be happier. The problem is that I still have insecurities about if he'll stick around. He was with another woman for 4 years, and then moved on. I've never given my heart away or opened myself up for so much potential hurt before. I don't want to have to be walking on pins & needles until after the 4 yr mark just so I know that he's not going anywhere. He reassures me that he's not going anywhere, that he's completely happy, etc. How do I convince myself that it's ok to be relax & just be in love with a wonderful man?
