My best friend slept with this guy and he told her it was the best he ever had, but he won't see her again from some nookie. He talks to her, but not that much, but he stares at her something hard when she's not paying attention. He told his best friend that he had to keep it a secret if he told her who he slept with and it doesn't seem like he told anyone else. He doesn't want a serious relationship with anyone. I told her that she must have scared him or he just said that to her. Do guys tell girls this just to say it?

He just wanted sex. That's all and he didn't want to hurt her feelings.
He really doesn't want to commit to anyone right now and he is afraid that if he sleeps with her again, she will develop feelings for him.
He doesn't want that to happen because he really doesn't want to hurt anyone.

I imagine he has sex with as many girls as he can and tells them all the same thing.

About his looking at her. Don't read anything into that.
He is just looking. That's all.

That's too bad. I hope yor friend isn't hurt by this. Tell her she's not alone. It sounds like he has taken advantage of a LOT of females.

They've ALL been screwed in every sense of the word.

No
It's just that sex before marriage breaks the trust and he can no longer trust her because he sees her as easy to get

Also he is most likely full of guilt.

You are curious as to why he still stares at her? His feelings about her haven't "adjusted" and lowered as quickly as his mind. So naturally his body wants to be with her again but his trust is so damaged he will only ever connect with her physically but not emotional.

Best thing to do it break up
or get married

Some of the comments that come from the ladies are only their interpretation of a guy's mind. I think you need to go by what a guy has to say about another guy because a guy can relate better to another guy than can a girl.

Some do say it just to insure they'll get some more later on. Some really mean it. I think any woman with some experience under her belt will know by her own performance if it was the best that their partner ever had or not.

If it was really so Great for him, wouldn't you think he'd be wanting more and trying to get it all the time? He is probably just playing your friend. And she shouldn't worry about this jerk any longer, tell her to forget him and rent 'John Tucker Must Die' and watch it with you, you'll both have a few laughs at his expense.

He got what he wanted is out to see if some other girl is stupid enough to spread her legs for him. That is why he is doing that, looking at her, remembering, but hoping to attract someone just as stupid.

Some people do just say it for effect.

Honestly if it was the best he'd had, he would be begging for more.

It seems like she might not have been the best he's ever had. I think that maybe he just said that. (not to be a jerk).
