This guy and I are cool, we're in the same class together. We went out once and he sends me texts to check up on me and stuff and he says he likes me. But he just got out of a serious relationship. I like him too and I want our relationship to grow into something eventually, but I dont want him to feel like im rushing him into something if he's not ready. How do I deal with this?

We were sitting at dinner and i was like look i have nice calves and he said "yeah like tree trunks" and i was really hurt by what he said. and then he kept telling me how he was kidding and that i was so beautiful. but i cant help but be upset. I recently met a wonderful, funny guy and we have an insane attraction and chemistry and we connect on all levels. He is so fun to be around and we have a great time together...and everything could go absolutely wonderful but of course something has to go wrong! He is moving far, far away..to New York to be exact, and I live in Wisconsin. My friend likes this girl, and she seems to like him too. He wants to ask her to be his girlfriend. We are thinking this Friday of meeting somewhere (not sure if it should be just him and her, some of his friends and just her, or some of his and her friends).

I need help deciding who should go (see the choices above).

I also need to know tips, hints, suggestions, and anything else about asking a girl to be your girlfriend.

What is an ideal place to go and how should he pop the question?

Also, in the event of a jukebox being available (or car stereo or iPod speakers), what song should I have playing when he gives me the que to ask her?

This boy that I like is a year older than me and a grade higher too. I asked him to homecoming and he said yes. We had a good time and I felt truely special for that whole night. Well, two weeks ago it is my bday n I had a small party. Well, we played truth or dare and my friend asked him is it true that he wants to go out with me. He said YES! I was so happy and I couldnt stop smiling. he brought me a GIANT monkey to school the next day with a heart on it that said 'be mine'. lol. it was sweet. Well, I wrote him a letter that said I liked him too. But my bubble was busted. He said that even though he does want to go out with me, he was scared that it would not work out and until we got to know each other more he wasnt gunna ask me out. I was heartbroken! Well, now I dont kno wat to do. He is sweet HOTT and popular. He is the funniest and smartest guy that I know. There is this guy who i liked once in the past but i thought it was going nowhere and i ended up going out with a different guy. Only to find out that he was starting to like me. Now (after a couple of months) that relationship is over and i like the first guy again. Now i'm having a hard time because i cant figure out how he feels about me. One day we'll be in a group and we wont talk at all, and the next we'll spend 5 hours straight discussing everything. Two guys, one turns me on, but has psychotic episodes of mood swings....easily gets irritated.... the other one, is handsome, very easy going, sweet, nice to talk to...... I just recently broke up with my girlfriend of 3 months who uses alcohol,inhalents,marijuana.She is also possibly pregnant. I think I would. If my sister brought home a short guy (5'3" - 5'6") I would probably try to break them up - of course I'd make fun of the guy first.
