How to deal with a guy who got just got out of a serious relationship?

This guy and I are cool, we're in the same class together. We went out once and he sends me texts to check up on me and stuff and he says he likes me. But he just got out of a serious relationship. I like him too and I want our relationship to grow into something eventually, but I dont want him to feel like im rushing him into something if he's not ready. How do I deal with this?

Oh, and what about the sex issue?

Just be his friend. Worst thing you can do is rush him into a serious relationship. Be available if he wants to talk, or study but not too available. Be patient. It may take a while for him to get over his last gf.

if you rush things then it just makes it too exciting at first and it ends faster.

chill out. you need to make sure you aren't the rebound girl anyway.

STAY FRIENDS with your othe girlfriends and in the activities you like. This is the number one thing that people do wrong when they get into new relationships and then they lose who they are... and it's tough to regain that again.

if you are really interested: take your time, let him take his. If he really "just" got out of relationship, he probably doesn't know which way is up. Let him know that you are there for him, and back off a bit....if it is meant to be, it will happen!
