This boy that I like is a year older than me and a grade higher too. I asked him to homecoming and he said yes. We had a good time and I felt truely special for that whole night. Well, two weeks ago it is my bday n I had a small party. Well, we played truth or dare and my friend asked him is it true that he wants to go out with me. He said YES! I was so happy and I couldnt stop smiling. he brought me a GIANT monkey to school the next day with a heart on it that said 'be mine'. lol. it was sweet. Well, I wrote him a letter that said I liked him too. But my bubble was busted. He said that even though he does want to go out with me, he was scared that it would not work out and until we got to know each other more he wasnt gunna ask me out. I was heartbroken! Well, now I dont kno wat to do. He is sweet HOTT and popular. He is the funniest and smartest guy that I know. But i want 2go sumwhere so that we can get to kno each other more. any suggestions as to wat I shuld do? sry dis is long!!

Why are you heartbroken! nothing about that was bad!! He likes you. He wants to get to know you. he just doesnt want to rush things! its basically perfect. So start by dating, you dont need a title to be happy. Just because your not boyfriend/girlfriend doesnt mean you cant start having a relationship. Just ask him if he wants to go out to dinner or a movie, or anything. GOOD LUCK.

That whole situation sounds a bit rough. I say u should sit down somewhere alone and talk to him to c what he feels would work for the both of u. Its goin take the both of yall to make a choice.

tak your time with him. being to eager can push a guy away fast. being that you are both young it is very important to get to know eachother. i do not suggest asking him to a movie because you would have to be quiet and it's hard to get to know someone when you can not talk... lol but, ask him if he would like to go eat with you or just talk on a walk with you... i think he has a strong personality to be able not to just jump into anything. take that into consideration he seems like a good guy

look take your time and yeah get to know him. ask him to come over to your place just to talk as friends or even his place. it is better if it is just the 2 of you talkin no other friends. he will open up more and it will make things go alot faster if u want them to and maybe after a few times of doin this he will be ready to date you

Well, there's nothing wrong with waiting until you guys get to know eachother better before dating him. Just be friends for a while, and when he's ready, he will ask you out.

Get to know him. Your too young to be twisting your brain like this. Just go with the flow, and don't force things or go too fast. Going too fast may push him away.
