my best friend likes me and i really like himbut every ex hes ever had was his best friend and now they hate each other i talked to him about this and we agreed that it was best not to date yet i cant stop thinking about him and it isnt because i like him lately ive had bad dreams and one night i was at his house with him and his mom him and i fell asleep on the couch, next thing i know i wake up in his arms crying my eyes out for no reason.is there something wrong with me or him that i cant get over?

Here is what happened. I worked in camp with mentally disabled people for the 1st time in my life. I wasnt used to the environment and its the 1st time I got away from my parents. The 1st few days of stress I got pissed at everyone and developed a bad reputation. I know I dont have much of a defense but think about it from my point of view. Then in order to fix it with the guys I went out with a girl just to get laid. After I got laid I dumped her and told everyone I just hump and dump, but I wasnt gonna see her again anyway cause she lives in a different country. Girls started hating me even more they said I use people. Guys were ok with it. I dont have much of a defense but seriously how badly did I mess up and should I come back to this camp next summer since most people wont return?

His ex lives in Germany and they broke up 5 years ago because she had to move back to Germany. She helped him through a big issue in his life where he says that he is eternally grateful for that. He went to Germany to see her about 9 months ago to see if they were meant to be together because he couldn't move on unless he knew for sure. Well, when he went, he realized that she wasn't the one. I met my fiance about 3 months after his trip. He said that trip made him feel like he was ready for a serious relationship. We met and fell in love and are now getting married this coming February. I believe him that he no longer sees her like that other than an old friend who was there for him at his time of need. A part of me is still jealous and wonders if he still have feelings for her. I can't be married to someone who has lingering feelings for someone else. I guess I don't know why they still have to keep in touch. Is this common? Do I hae anything to worry about?

I've been going out with this girl for a while, but now she's started working after finishing high school (she's 17). She works everyday (including weekends). She also cancelled our plans to go out and she hasn't really mentioned making up for it.We never get any time together anymore and she says she has to work for the next 3 weeks straight. Then after this three weeks she has to go overseas for 2 months. When she promised to call, she didn't because she was working again at night and had to sleep at work. When I called her, she didn't answer, so I just left a message. She then called back at 11 pm. Is she still interested? Has she found someone else at work? Or is she just really busy?

I have a friend who Ive had a crush on for a few months now. Recently her boyfriend broke up with her, and shes been pretty broken up about it. Now, Ive been seeing quite a bit of her recently, (dinner, etc). This past weekend, Id invited her over to my place for dinner and a movie. She lives pretty far away, so it meant that she would have to stay over for the night.

Dinner was had, the movie was watched, it was about 12AM. We were sitting on the couch. Well, we talked about this and that, and whatnot. She was sitting with her legs up on mine, and after a while, I gave her a foot massage. Well, I really wanted to kiss her, but couldnt get up the courage. Conversation flagged, and I didnt know what else to say to her. But she didnt say she wanted to go to bed either. So I suggested giving her a backrub, and we did that.

Finally, it was 5 am, and definitely time for bed. I asked her if I could kiss her goodnight, and she thought about it and said no.

What did I do wrong??

This guy calls me to hang the same day...why doesn't he make plans ahead...he says he alwasy does the same thing...hang out go to the beach blah blah when he calls to hang out that is what he is doing and he makes it very casual...so far he is the one always calling to hang...then when I asked him if he wanted to hang within a week of the date he said "so far yes" What??? you guys get this?

Screw the points, I think we should be able to give out as many best answers per question as we want! Speaking for myself, there have been times where I would have chosen 5 or more, because they were so good. It's not fair to the others that gave great answers, and I feel bad when I can't pick 'em.
