Im 17 and the girl I like just broke up with her boyfriend a week ago. She was pretty upset, but now I think that she is fine. How long should I wait b4 asking her out?

She broke up with her bf a week ago. At first she was pretty upset, but now she seems fine. Also another Im pretty sure this other kid likes her, and may ask her out soon. How long do I wait to ask her out?

You should wait until you absolutely know for sure that she's over her ex. If she still mentions him or talks about him, then wait longer. I would suggest waiting a month or so and get to know her better because she probably doesn't want the pressure of another relationship. Just be there for her if she's upset in any way and tell her that your there for her no matter what. If this wasn't her first boyfriend, it won't take long for her to get over her ex. Just be a friend to her first and see how it goes from there. If she's telling you things that she has never told anyone b4, then she might give you a try. Just be good to her and she how her reaction is. Breakup's are tough, but with the right person there, she will be more happy everyday!! I hope I helped!!

If it was a serious relationship, wait a while. Its gonna take her a while to get over things & u dont wanna be a rebound. If it wasnt serious, go for it right away. She'll let u know if shes ready by her answer. Dont take it personal if she turns u down, she might just need time to think.

First just talk with her first because she is probably not ready to have any relationships at this moment but she could use a good friend that will not pressure her into anything and will listen to her and comfort her when she needs it...Try that approach first and slowly things will come about the way you want it...But take it slowly..

Just ask her if she is olay about the break up help her fell more better about it like write admire notes and put them in her locker or just go for it and ask her out!!!
