I asked a girl to homecoming but ever since i asked her it has gotten a little bit awkward and i have trouble talking to her and their isn't much to talk about ( homecoming is on saturday ) i don't want to be a jerk and not go with her since i did ask her way way in advance... but i want to tell this other girl that i like her. even though i think she has a boyfriend. I can't seem to get over a girl who doesn't (atleast she says) like me. I can't get her out of my thoughts and its already been almost a month and a half. I can't concentrate on my studies and am almost flunking every exam given to me. She's in my classes so I can't cut off contact with her (even though i tried changing my schedule) but in reality i don't want to avoid her, i just want to stare into her eyes and tell her that i love her. I've been listening to songs like goodbye my lover, wicked game and hurt repeatedly. What should I do? Please help me.

Well, there's this girl in my class and she sits right next to me (its her assigned seat) and sometimes she just stares at me. I look behind myself to make sure nothing is going on, and there isn't. And when I stare at her, she makes no attempt to turn she just keeps staring at me when I look at her and she turns after about 7 seconds. Why?
Additional Details

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I asked her best friend if she liked me and she said "that's her choice to tell you how she feels, not mine," I don't understand the logic if according to you guys is making it almost blatently obvious and I haven't figured it out after about a year. Also at none of these times did i have something on my face that looked abnormal or disgusting.

welll,to start off i have been sexually active going on two years,but not with boys my age.like from 20-24.i have a very fully develop mind and body and basically i handle myself as an adult.My recent bf is 24(i told him i was 16) and we have been with each other for 4 months.i have been through alot of situations that a "15" year old would'nt imagine going through,and my mom does'nt even know half of the stuff.(we dnt get along at all)am i moving too fast?what should i do?

i am 16 years old i like this girl in my english class. i talk to her once in a while but wen i asked her if she liked me she said NO !!! but the problem is that now she looks at me with a smile on her face. like for example i was talking 2 my friend b4 class and i was standing by the door and she was looking right at me smiling. like one time i gave her a note and told her 2 stop calling me chi chi, because i dont like it. anyways i saw her walking in the hallway and instead of saying HI chi chi she called me by my first name and wen she said it she had a smile on her face. then the other day she asked me if i can lend her a pencil. then after class she was about to give it back but she was about to call me chi chi then she smiled and called me by my 1st name. i don't what is happening does she like me or she doesnt or is playing with me and one time i asked her to get 2 class just playing around & either she ignored me or is she mad at me or thinks i lost interest in her PLEASE HELP

I went to a dance recently and my friend kept asking me if I was going with anyone, hr knew I wasn't going with anyone. Then he kep asking me to dance and sing with him and told I him "No" the first 2 times and the third I agreed, then later I went to go hang out with another friend and he seems mad/jealous because I hung out with my other friend and not him. We are best friends and seems like he wants to be more than friend. Everyone thinks we are going out and that we make a cute couple. There was a time when I thought I was in love. I had liked him for 2 years and then realized I was in love with him. This went on for a total of 2 more years. When I realized that he would never love me back, I moved on. He got a girlfriend, and I got a boyfriend. I dated the guy for two months, and started to get attached. Then we broke up . I started developing feelings for someone else about six months later, only to have him fall for my best friend instead.

So my question is, how do you find someone worth while, and make the relationship last? How do you find your soul mate? How do you fall in love? And is it that important?
