Is it wrong to tell a complete strange woman in public how beautiful they are, then (depending on the answer and response) ask them out?

Complimenting a woman on her clothing or hair is one thing, but if she's a complete stranger she might find it a little forward if you walk up and tell her that she's beautiful--no matter how flattering it is. This can seem especially forward if you follow with asking her out because it seems like that was your only motivation for complimenting her to begin with. Try getting to know someone first, and then tell her how beautiful she is. It will mean more to her and you will hopefully find more qualities about her that you appreciate as well.

I don't think it's a good idea. If some guy came up to me like that, I'd prolly think he was weird and be a little afraid of him.

i think its wonderful! =) however, i doubt you'd get a positive answer =P as long as you are sincere, i don't think there should be a problem. (don't approach in a stalkerish way) lol.
