I don't think that is an addiction. More or less that he just isn't as into you any more, and is trying to avoid you. In a really really big way. Probably need to talk to him about what is going on. Because he is either stressed or have something on his mind that he doesn't really want to share with you.

This is very common in many men. If it bothers you now , it will get worse , so I would date others. I have 44 years of knowing how it is. Too bad we learn the hard way too late.

Sure they can enjoy sports, but if it's #1 above everything, thats another story. Actions speak loud.

If it's a school sport then just support him. If it's a day-day thing constantly on his and your free time. Then tell him. Give him a short time to fix it. If he doesn't make enough time for your means then dump him. He don't deserve you then.

Get him to start dribbling everywhere else but on the court..... When that happens its jump ball and you can get the BALL in your court......
