"I still hate you, but I can't figure out why I keep talking to you. I've deleted you from my phone, AIM, MSN, and I can't think of anything else. " .......I got this from my ex a week after we broke up for reasons that are still un- beknownst to me. I had already done all the things listed in this email before I even got this email b/c I am/was trying to forget him. Prior to this, he had told me that he won't be able to be friends, etc b/c he won't be able to handle me dating other people, etc. I just don't understand this..it seems like we are both hurting and I am still not sure why. Part of the break up is that he said "he was getting too close to me and didn't want to. and that he purposely did things to push me away" I don't understand this and I am not sure how to respond? I am not sure if it really means goodbye? He has been the initiator of most contact..

My ex girlfriend and I broke up and we are now seeing other people. The thing is, we can't stay away from each other. One of us always calls the other just to talk. I went to her house and asked if she wanted to get back together. She says she wants to be with me forever, but she doesn't want me right now. We fought a lot but we love each other a lot. She told me to go have fun with my new girlfriend, and if we are meant to be then we will be together someday. Does she really intend to get back with me? Or is she just telling me that to lead me on in case things don't work out with the boyfriend she has now?

I'm I the only man, that when he notices a women does'nt think about sex striaght-away, but admire her beauty, get to know her better, her hobbies, what makes her sad or happy, sex would come many weeks or months later, but the other day i went out with a group of friends from work and all they were interested in was 'getting laid' no matter what happens...I felt so embarrassed, and went home early alone...

The next day they were boasting at work how they got the girls into bed....God how cheap, and vulger....I have'nt been getting on well with them, as they think i'm too old fashioned, and that i'll never get a Girlfriend with that type of attitude. I have seen in the past many men would mary women with significant age difference. Does it anything to do with difference in men and women's sexual needs at older ages? Then there are couples who are like the other way round, woman is older than the man...so what is the bottomline?

Ive been dating my bf a year and hes so insecure, if i dont give him the slightest attention he gets upset and angry, eg- if i dont phone him for like 2-3 hours.We see each other everyday after he finishes work, but its getting way too much because everytime we go out in public together he gets really angry because he thinks im looking at EVERY man that walks past me.. and that im flirting with them when im NOT! its driving me insane, because we argue all the time about me trying to flirt or staring at other men, i love him so much and he loves me, but this is taking the piss!!!!
Today he had a day of work, but i had a hairdressers appointment, so i decided to take him with me and he thought i was rubbing my legs against the guy who was blowdrying my hair, he thought i was flirting! when i know i wasnt i was just being friendly...! what can i do? this keeps happening, i go back to uni next week and hes going to be even more insecure i dont think hes going to cope!
