Singles & Dating - 18 September 2006

I wanted to know from those who are in relationships representing Islam and Christianity (ex. guy is muslim, girl is christian or vis-a-vis). How have the two made it work out? How do you settle differences? When you have kids how will the two of you handle it? etc. I'm curious bc I really do love this girl who is muslim and I'm christian. I respect her beliefs and will never impose my belief on her. She is the same but I want to know from those out there in this kind of relationship exactly what to expect and any tips on it.

I like this boy who says he likes me and another girl. he told me that nothing would happen between us because I am older ( I'm 15 about to turn 16 and he's 14 and going to turn 15) but I say that age hast nothing to do with anything. he also says that this girl likes him more. but there's no way he can prove that! how can I tell him that age has nothing to do with love and how can I prove to him that he can't know if this girl likes him more? Do women get offended if a man always cook...I'm really good in the kitchen, french, indian, italian (being a only child) i use to watch me mom first, then the tv, or books from the library (so that i could impress women)..and I enjoy cooking..

These day i usually cook for myself/mom/friends.........But I would love to cook a really good meal for that special women out-there..

About two weeks ago I did something that I am not proud of. I live with my mother and my brother. A week ago, for some strange reason my mother decided to try something new for lunch, “Mountain Oysters”. I thought they were some kind of oysters, but they did not seemed like oysters at all, they just looked like big oval white balls, about the size of two softballs. Anyway, when she told us that they were bull testicles….first I was shocked, then started laughing. My brother was just staring at them with a serious face. But then I noticed that my brother begin to blush, and I could not help but to laugh uncontrollable at him, and my mother too. Then she left to do some more shopping. First I was joking with him about the oysters, then got courage and picked up one of the “oysters” to embarrassed him even more. THEN I got a little carried away and without thinking just throw the “ball” very hard into his balls!!! He doubled over to his knees and then fell to the side, his face became pale, he was down for more than five minutes, and the sight of him holding his balls with the big ball just next to him was too much for me, and I laughed so hard that I had tears in my eyes! He then got up, and was real mad, and just locked himself in his room. He never told my mother, I guess he was too embarrassed. He did not eat the oysters, lol.
I have been asking for his forgiveness but he do speak to me and do not even look at me!, my mother suspects that something is wrong. What can I do?

my guy is a total sweetheart to me--most of the time. a few days ago, he told me that he thought we should slow down and not see eachother so much, that way, when we did get together, it would be more meaningful, because we will have had time to miss eachother. i gave him a ride home today, even though that was against the original "slowing down" plan...so i was really quiet, in a confused mood and i didn't want to do anything. he told me that in reality, we wouldn't be able to slow down like that, because he would miss me too much. he says he worries about me breaking up with him, but i am so scared to lose him...what should i think?

T. likes me. We went to homecomin together on saturday. He held my hands and gav me a teddy bear. Before me and him started talkin, one day, out of nowhere, his bestfriend (L) called me and said hes brokenheart and flirted with me over the fone. I fell for him. My boyfriend is amazing. My ex was a complete @$$h0le! He was very controlling and no matter what guy it is, unless he treats me like sh!t i feel like i can't fall head over heels. Most of the time i feel like i am in love with my boyfriend. I am always thinking about him, i get those butterflies and sparks. I feel lost when he signs offline or gets off the phone with me or leaves or goes to work or bed. It just seems like no matter what NICE guy i'm with ..i will be confused until someone tells me how to get over this. I am only 17 but i have had many boyfriends and this one is the best to happen to me. My mom definetly agrees. I feel like all my problems fade away when i'm with him. Maybe i am scared of love now? The more and more i think about it, i think i am.

I was out at a crowded bar this weekend and I noticed a girl who had a great smile and was exactly my type.

I made a couple of jokes about the beer she had bought her girlfriend (it was a heavy beer - I referred to it as driveway sealer) and complimented her on her shoes. She smiled a lot and laughed at my jokes.

A few minutes later I walked over to her and told her that I shought she was so cute and that I'd love to take her out on a date some time and then I asked her for her number. She didn't have a pen so I offered her my business card which she took and told me that she would call.

I went back over to my friend's table and hung out for a while - when we decided to leave I walked back over and asked her if she'd promise to call me - she gave me a great big smile and said "I will".

It's been almost 2 days and she has not called. Do you think that she will?
