I set out on a narrow way, many years ago.Hoping I would find true love down the broken road.but I got lost a time or two, wiped my brow kept pushing through.I could see how every sign pointed strait to you.Every long lost dream, led me to where you are.others who broke my heart.they were like northern stars.pointing me on my way, into your loving arms. This much I know is true.Bless the broken road.

I am singing it at my cousins wedding.I can sing it better than rascal flatts now.And that is the real truth.I am not boasting or bragging.I am just happy it turned out like that.God bless my broken road.

I understand that our culture is extremely sexually driven, but honestly, some of the questions you all post on this site make sick. Despite the fact that you think you are funny, I feel sorry for you. Sex is both a physical and emotional bond, and it should not be handled so flippantly. For your sake, and for the sake of your future spouse, don't you think it would be a good idea to gain a more mature view of the topic?

I'm a freshman in college, and lately I've been trying to meet people. I met a few girls at a dining hall a few days ago, and I went to a dorm room where one of them lived. I met her roommate, who said hi and smiled, and I spent a short time in the room before going back to my dorm. All of the girls seemed nice, but I was only attracted to the roommate. Today, I IMed the roommate and suggested that we hang out, which is exactly what she seemed to want as well. She gave me her # without me asking and said I should call her sometime. So, what would be the appropriate thing to do with her in this situation, besides going to a dining hall or restaurant?

Am I strange for being picky about a guy's looks? I thought only men did that to women, but I am a woman who finds myself doing that to men. Don't get me wrong, personality, a great sense of humor, and brains matter just as well, but I find it hard to "settle" for anyone under my standards of physical attractiveness. Gosh, I know I sound shallow to everyone reading this, but I promise, I'm not; I'm very accepting of most everyone I meet.
So...I've been told for most of my life that I'm an attractive young woman. I'm not a narcissist that gazes in the mirror all day, but I do think I deserve a good looking man that matches closely, my same level of attractiveness. What I think is most bitchy about myself is that I actually sometimes feel a little insulted when someone tries to hook me up with someone that I don't find attractive. Is this wrong or normal? I know I'm picky, but I sometimes wonder why I can't find a mate without having to lower my standards.

So I met a girl. We both hung out at the same place and played pool/cards. I didn't pay that much attention to her, but I noticed her. Anyway, she asked to use my phone one day and took my number off it. Next thing I know she's calling me. Asking me out. She stood me up a few times, but all in all she just kept pursuing me and I wasn't doing anything. We got pretty close. She told me she liked me...I hesitated. Eventually I told her I liked her. Months went by. We had known each other for about 6 months, she starts saying she loves me. I'm hesitant. After a while, I started saying it back to her. We had a lot of intimate moments, although we never slept together. It's been about 3 months since I've even talked to her. What the fuuck happened? When I noticed a change in her I pulled back. I intentionally waited a few weeks to call her. I called her like twice in the last 3 months. Never got a phone call back. I'm pissed, I lost my friend.

I want to learn to build relationships with attractive girls for friendship. What can you recommend? What attracts girls and what words should I say to a girl to start the relationship? Is it ok to complement a girl/woman on her looks, outfit, etc...Will those comments be accepted or rejected?

a couple of weeks ago i called this guy on his phone and put on his answering machine that i thought he was a f@#$ing !#$hole. The reason i told him this is because i liked him and thought that he was acting just like i said. I thought that would be the end of it and for almost three weeks it was. Out of the blue he calls phone rings once he hangs up five minutes later calls again my mom answers he pauses then says shyly oh i must have the wrong number. why did he do this? Does he like me?

I'm in a long distance relationship with someone right now and we can only see each other like three times a year. A few days ago, I was having a really bad day, and I said that if he didn't come to see me next summer, it was over. I obviously didn't mean it, cuz I care too much for him. But he took it really personally and said that it made him feel like ****.

We had a huge discussion/fight and we've come to the conclusion that one of us is either over sensitive or under sensitive. He's told me that he's super sensitive and that's something that he can't change. I asked him, what was the conclusion of this whole argument. He says that I have to be more sensitive to his feelings and have to pay more attention to what I say.

I was upset and didn't mean it.

The question: Is he out of line, or am I just a totally stupid and insensitive person?

I am 25, and I have 3 kids, all by my ex fiance who died a year and a half ago. I am ready to date again, but I'm afraid most guys will think I'm trying to find a daddy for my kids, or someone to support us. But I have my own income, I just want a companion. I also don't just want to find someone who thinks that just because I have kids, that I'm domesticated, and will take care of their every need. I also can't look for anyone who wants kids of his own, because about a year before my ex died, I got my tubes tied, and can't have anymore kids.

Bare with me here. We broke up about 4 months ago after a 2.5 yr relationship, and were still sleeping together for two months after the breakup. I was deeply n love with this girl and cant get rid of this feeling months later. I kind of realize we wont work out. And ive wisely cut all contact with her even though she tried 'keeping in touch' She got back with her first love and 'first' everything(which makes it even worse). She is totally out of my life, yet i honestly cant go 5 minutes without her popping in my head. I dread the thought of even laying down to go to sleep bc no matter what I cant stop thinking abt how she's now back with this guy!

I have known him for 7 months and every week I break up with him, but he always finds a way back to me. I am getting tired of him and feel trapped, yet I care about him and have gotten attached to him. He's a good guy but I think I can do better and I could use the time off. I am starting to think that he is obsessed with me. how do I know if its love or obsession. What should I do to figure this out?
