I have known him for 7 months and every week I break up with him, but he always finds a way back to me. I am getting tired of him and feel trapped, yet I care about him and have gotten attached to him. He's a good guy but I think I can do better and I could use the time off. I am starting to think that he is obsessed with me. how do I know if its love or obsession. What should I do to figure this out?

IT SOUND LIKE IT DANGEUOUS CLOSE TO OBSESSION.
AND THAT NOT GOOD IF YOU HAVE BROKEN UP IWTH HIM
EVERY W EEK THEN IT TIME TO LET KIM KNOW THAT IT
IS REALLY OVER. BUT YOU ALSO NEED TO TAKE SOME
RESPONSIBLITY FOR THIS AS WELL. YOU KEEP GOING
BACK TO HIM . SO HE MAY FEEL THAT IT OK TO DO THIS
IF IT IS REALLY OVER THEN LET IT BE OVER ONCE AND
FOR ALL. OTHER WISE IT CAN GET REAL BAD IF YOU
DONT HANDLE IT RIGHT.

Explain to him that it's over, and convince yourself to break it off! You can't have any doubt, you have to do it, sever the ties, and move on with your life or else his obsession is only going to get worse. At this point he will not take you seriously because you are constantly giving him what he wants, he's probably seeing this as a game. If you truly think that you can do better, then end it and stick to your guns on it. The longer this game plays on, the more irritated he's going to get and someone is likely to get hurt. Set him down, explain to him your thoughts and that you care for him but this is not what you want, and that you can not remain friends because that obviously has not worked in the past. It's like a bandaid, just rip it off!

Well lets look at this. Sunday comes around and you get in a fight with him and break up, then you take him back and things go on for another week right? Well the definition of insanity is doing the same thing again and again and expecting a different result. He knows you're going to take him back again so breaking up with you is just you letting off steam in his eyes. He's patient and understanding and I think he loves you very much. You on the other hand are surprised each time you take him back. You might question why you're putting this guy through this? He's the same guy you break up with each time you take him back. Either leave him or stop doing this.

Explain to him one more time that it's over, & you are having a 60 day HE tox, atleast 60 days without any contact, do not i repeat do not answer his calls, tell him to stay away. If you can try & get away with a friend go on a holiday... I don't know how to figure out if it's love or obsession sorry, maybe it's a bit of both. Good luck
