So I met a girl. We both hung out at the same place and played pool/cards. I didn't pay that much attention to her, but I noticed her. Anyway, she asked to use my phone one day and took my number off it. Next thing I know she's calling me. Asking me out. She stood me up a few times, but all in all she just kept pursuing me and I wasn't doing anything. We got pretty close. She told me she liked me...I hesitated. Eventually I told her I liked her. Months went by. We had known each other for about 6 months, she starts saying she loves me. I'm hesitant. After a while, I started saying it back to her. We had a lot of intimate moments, although we never slept together. It's been about 3 months since I've even talked to her. What the fuuck happened? When I noticed a change in her I pulled back. I intentionally waited a few weeks to call her. I called her like twice in the last 3 months. Never got a phone call back. I'm pissed, I lost my friend.

Z-driver: You know what, I think you're absolutely right. I have since moved on (for the most part). Yet answering peoples questions on here made me think of it.

IT was the thrill of the chase. She got you where she wanted you and now she is done. Guys do that all the time to girls. This girl is just a guy at heart. Move on.

Sincerely would say that girl may like the attention of other from here and then, but they really need the care and concern of the one they love and it wouldn't kill you to call her once or twice a week to express your thoughts about her, or you can at least send her a SMS to do so. and its not necessary have to be her birthday to buy her gift, just try to remind yourself once a while: is it a necessity for you to make her happy and to see the sweet little smile she give back to you is more than anything you can buy around the world.

Sounds like she has control of the situation... when you call, that tells her that you are desperate to have a relationship with her.
My advice... is to be patient and just let time be the one that will makes the decision.
Listen! You had nothing to begin with... so what makes you think that you had lost a friend.
If she is a true friend, she would of called you by now and explain the reasons why she hasn't return your call.

It happens! Being in your frame, it might be difficult to analyse the situation and come to a conclusion. May be you can try shifting yourself out of your seat and look at your problem as one of your dearest's problem. May be you'll have better vision. May be you'll see the root couse of the problem. Once you identify the couse for the problem, it would be very easy to solve it. Yes, at times, you need to sit and think systematically like a machine to solve very sensitive and emotional problems.

She honestly sounds crazy.
she might have some emotional issues that need some professional attention.

But that's just my experience with women who act funny.
