I am 25, and I have 3 kids, all by my ex fiance who died a year and a half ago. I am ready to date again, but I'm afraid most guys will think I'm trying to find a daddy for my kids, or someone to support us. But I have my own income, I just want a companion. I also don't just want to find someone who thinks that just because I have kids, that I'm domesticated, and will take care of their every need. I also can't look for anyone who wants kids of his own, because about a year before my ex died, I got my tubes tied, and can't have anymore kids.

Most guys do not want a girl with kids and I was one of them but I grew up and married a girl who had a four year old daughter. I now have 2 boys to go along with my daughter and we have a great family life. Take your time meeting men and do not let your kids interact with the guy until you know that he is a guy worth meeting your kids...but do not hide the fact that you have kids. My wife waited almost 4 months until I really met our daughter. Good Luck!

It definitely makes it a little bit harder, but it is possible to find a man that doesn't mind a woman with kids, AND doesn't expect a domesticated slave. My brother was 30 years old when he married a 42 yr old mother of two. She can't have anymore kids and he doesn't mind because he sees her kids as his own, he treats her like gold and they're very happy together. It's not easy to find but its out there, just take it slow and keep your standards high!

It all depends on the guy. Last year I married a lady with two kids but she turned out to be a lying sl*t and it's ending a in a divorce, so perhaps I chose wrong. But I think there are guys out there who would want to be part of you and your family, but only the more mature ones, sorry to say.

Guys first see a girl, then they see a girl with kids.
Lots of single guys either like women with kids or don't mind women with kids, it's 2006 the stone age is over!!
Take your time, think of your kids first and everything will fall in line, I know it did for me and my wife!

I think they get scared, because it's a big responsability for a man, to take care of 3 children. Most of them have themselves a child mind. You will find somebody, one day, because out there, there is one man for you, who love children.

single males perspective.....if woman is positive, a great mom, and attentive to me.....i would be enthusiastic to the prospect. i believe that kids are a blessing, and i have two of my own. it would never be a caveat if the woman and i were working together.

i am 44 i would see a woman with childern (i have no childern so really i see a reason to do thin like dress up for holloween and stull like that )
