My "boyfriend" and his mother are coming back to stay with me for a couple of weeks after spending a couple of days with other friends. He called me tonight to let me know they will be dropped off at my place. He starts by calling me "princess" and "mwah, mwah" but I still feel like he's hiding something or that it's just forced.
I've asked him directly several times if he loves me or misses me and he always says yes but not convincingly. I have the feeling he is just getting along with me until he and his mother finish their vacation with me and go back to their country. I think he's just avoiding a breakup and once he goes back he can easily stop calling, emailing me.
I keep thinking I'm pushing too hard. No sign of a commitment but he has introduced me to alot of his mom's friends. I want to give it more time but I don't want to wait till the end to have to tell myself "told you so"

i,ve been talking to this guy for over 2 years we get along great most of the time but i keep him at a distance and he hates it.we have argued many times about it which caused us to stop speaking but then he comes back around.so i know hes after something maybe sex though i hope not but there has to be a reason why he comes back.what do you guys think?

I talk to old men all the time about women and relationships. Hey most of them have been married for over 50 years. Gotta know something. I use their advice alot. I still love my ex gf very much. We broke up while still in love with one another. Complicated issues on her part dealing with her past. The older gentlemen tell me to be patient with her and show her respect by allowing her to come to terms with her demons in her own time. they tell me to continually show her I care eventhough we are not together anymore. One man said to me that " A thousand NO's get wipped away by a single YES." Be patient and not push her and she will come back when she cleans her mind up. They call it persistace. How many think that is true?
