Walk up and talk to him, ask him what he likes to do, what ever he says, just say " I love to do that" may be we can do that together soon.
It will get him thinking about asking you out, if he has not called or asked you out in two weeks, then just walk up to him and say hey, what's the deal man, I thought you wanted to take me out, when are we going to go do sometime man! This will force him to act. He wants to, just sometimes just have to push, it will be worth it in the long run.

Walk up to him. Make sure you get in his peripheral view in front of him so he can't miss you. If he doesn't talk to you introduce youself. Then begin to flirt with him.
