I am a punk girl, but I do not make a big show of it so most normal, preppy boys are attracted to me. I have plenty of normal interests like reading, political science, etc. and I can get along fine with non-punks. Secretly, I'm the biggest punk fan and I want to be a music journalist. I collect CDs, read punkews.org daily, and read all about the history of the scene. My boyfriend now hardly even listens to music. We get along fine, and he shows an interest in going to shows and listening to my music. I don't really want to school anyone though. I just want a boyfriend that is already punk, so we can talk obsessively about it. Where do I get one of these punk rockers? Should I even break up just because my bf isn't punk like me?

This is a follow up question. My first question was "are women more emotional than men"? Surprisingly all of the women who answered were very honest and nice ( I thought I would get some nasty answers) and admitted to sometimes being a little emotional. My next question is if you realize you tend to be emotional why can't you do things to compensate for this? Like telling yourself I am being emotional right now so I need to take some deep breaths and think logically." Thanks for all of your answers about a touchy subject that I am curious about. First of all I am 6'2, very wealthy, very confident, very serious, and is always in control of myself. I thought women love a man that is tall with a great career then why is that most women that I approach seems to be intimidated by me. Is it because I am a soldier in the U.S. Army? Hi, I'd like to know if there's a special way to talk to girls. I like girls a lot, but whenever I see a really good looking girl I tend to freeze up & just not say anything. I'm also a little shy, & I can't seem to overcome this fear to go over & talk to them. What is a guy to do in this sort of situration?

my story:

i've been in love with my best freind ever sence i met her 5 years ago. sadly i fell into the ""friend zone" in just the last month or two we have finnaly starting to get really close. i am able to cudle with her, hold her hand, kiss her cheek and scratch her back.

i gave her, her 21st birthday party. she spent the night and she slept on the couch (i offered her to sleep in my bed and for me to sleep on the couch but she took the couch) i slept on the other couch (she was fine with it) i talked to her a little and i asked her if we were "officially together at all" and she smiled (sweetly) and said maybe.

should i take this as a posible yes or a probibly not?

the way she smiled makes me think that she is still getting used to me being close to her. we are best friends and like i said i was in the "friend zone". i think she has the weird feeling of getting close to her best friend but she is starting to think of me as a boyfriend.
