my story:
i've been in love with my best freind ever sence i met her 5 years ago. sadly i fell into the ""friend zone" in just the last month or two we have finnaly starting to get really close. i am able to cudle with her, hold her hand, kiss her cheek and scratch her back.
i gave her, her 21st birthday party. she spent the night and she slept on the couch (i offered her to sleep in my bed and for me to sleep on the couch but she took the couch) i slept on the other couch (she was fine with it) i talked to her a little and i asked her if we were "officially together at all" and she smiled (sweetly) and said maybe.
should i take this as a posible yes or a probibly not?
the way she smiled makes me think that she is still getting used to me being close to her. we are best friends and like i said i was in the "friend zone". i think she has the weird feeling of getting close to her best friend but she is starting to think of me as a boyfriend.
what do you think??

i am moving slow, but i worry about her just thinking of me as a friend and not a boyfriend. it is just i've been looking for possible improvement for the last 5 years with no luck and after all that time in only about 2 months max i've have actually got something happening and i'm not positive about it. even though i'm sure it is starting to happen, it is a like a tale of the boy who cryed wolf.
i'd think "ya something is hapening", now that there is something finnaly hapening i think "it's just nothing like before".

well since she is your best friend, you must know how she is about romance and what not. If she is a shy girl, or doesn't like to move fast in relationships, then id say you're right about the smile and it was her way of telling you to hang in there you've just about got her! But if she isn't shy and usually goes for what she wants... she might just be stringing you along for one reason or another... Good LUCK!

Take it easy, by the sounds of it your rushing her into admitting that you are her bf. By the looks of things she is slowly but surely coming to terms of seeing you as her bf. So there is definitely a happy ending in this story as long as you don't rush her. So, ease on the brakes and let her run the show. Best of luck amigo
