I'm 34yrs old w/2 children. I was in a relationship for almost a yr and thought everything was close to perfect. Out of the blue he tells me he is seeing someone else. My hrt has been torn apart, y can I not get over this, I am no stranger to a broken hrt. 2 make things worse he has said she is not even pretty, Y is this so hard this time?

There is no band-aid big enough to mend a broken heart. The best way to help past time by and keep your mind occupied is to keep yourself busy with your children, live life to the fullest and set your mind to a task that you have been wanting to get done but haven't been able to. Just let your heart piece itself back together by letting it wrap its self around the things that mean the most to you. Maybe rekindle an old friendship or get in touch with an old lover just to check in and see how things are going (nothing serious just friendly convo). Hope things get better i know how you feel it seems things are great and no sooner than you think its time to take the next step your world comes crashing down. Don't get discouraged just pick yourself up and try again! Good Luck!

Time is the only thing and then you still won't forget, but it will be better. If I were you, I would see a counselor. They can really help you and do not be ashamed to ask for help. You are in pain and that is what they are for. Plus it helps if you have faith in a higher power and good friends to support you. I am sorry about this and I hope you heal. You will be stronger and you will be more open to knowing about how some guys are. Knowledge is power.

im nervous to death about the first day of class right now and cant sleep :( i would gladly trade places with you...see there are people who suffer much much worse out there... :( but pull ur self together its not the end of the world and ur kiddos needs you. lucky you he just gave someone else a chance to love you more and a chance for a even better life this is opportunity but depense if u use it or not

What a jerk he is!My answer is simply-- leave him!Leave him and never let him find you. When he gets into fight with this new girl he will miss how nice you are.At this time,he might wanna come back to you to talk about it.Don't be his listener.Reject him coldly and let him suffer what he has done to you.
Also,move on, get a life and do something meaningful to the society.Let him regret what he has abandoned.
