Singles & Dating - 19 July 2006

I am a straight 29 yr-old single male who has never been in a serious relationship and have not even had a girlfriend in quite some time. Almost all of my close friends have recently become engaged (ie. within the last month) or are already married. Should I be concerned ? I mean, I would like nothing better than to be in a loving and long-term relationship but I just can't seem to find the right woman. Plus, it doesn't help that I don't get that many opportunities to meet women. Starting to wonder whether bachelorhood is all its cracked up to be ...

See I'ver been tryng to look for my first love for about a couple of weeks know.It's a sad story on how we broke it off. We both were still in love which eachother even after a year of bereaking up.(It's been 6yrs since). He went his way because I had done the wrong choices (to start doing drugs) then I had got into this relationship with some guy, for me was the only easy way to get the drugs from. But my first love would call me at times and tell me how much he loved me and what i had done wrong. That if I ever wanted to go right to look for him. And know I got help and stopped using for 7 months and I've started to get into shape again. know I'm crying). And 2 yrs ago he got with some girl who's all into drugs too. and I'm fearfully thinking he is too. I want to find to help him so he could make the right choice for himself. And also by what his sister told me that he's told her that he hasn't forgotten about me. I just want to be happily together again. can someone please help?

I haven'lt heard from my married lover in 2 weeks, the longest it's ever been. Don't know if he is o.k and just busy or if it is over ,, wherther he has dropped me or his wife has found out, don't know if I will hear back from him at this point and can't risk his privacy to contact him by phone, etc. I'm not looking for criticism on the situation . In the time I have been with him, I have made love with him more times than with any other man, including my ex husband. I enjoyed a deep intimacy with him and miss him terribly. I am trying to meet other guys (single guys) and I have a date today but they are all just guys that I could like as friends but I really don't see any attraction to them. If the guy I meet today turns out to be nice and all, l could be friends with him but am not so sure I could have the same feelings I have for this other guy. What can I do to feel better but at the same time keep his memory in my heart if it is over?

Starting over in a relationship can be hard work and very time consumming. But is it really worth it towards the end? Sometimes it can be for the lucky at heart who find there soul mate. But for the misfortunate it can be a disaster. So if you are up to weening out the bad to find the good and you have a lot of time on your hands then I wish you all the luck. And happy hunting.

My g/f gets urinary track infections alot. Having sex can cause this I know. But what if we arent having sex much? Should she still be having them alot? We dont have sex while she is on the medicine to clear it up. Then when I know its been a little over a week and want to have sex she says no cuz she has one again...how???

A guy i no from where i live was out two weeks ago in the same nightclub i was. He looked at me and winked i lightly smiled back, then when i was out the sunday after he was out down in our town.He turned around and started looking back when i was walking up the road. then i was out with my fella mate and we were walking down the down the town friday just gone when this guy was outside a pub and when i walked past i lightly turned around to see if he was looking, he was. Then the next night i was in the same nightclub he was i was with a guy friend and this guy that keeps looking at me was at the bar with his mate he noticed me at the bar aswell and that song paris to berlin was on he pointed at me when the part you left me longin for you came on and smiled i couldn't help but smile.. what do you all think does he like me or am i just imagine things cause i sort of like him??!!
