If some has secluded them selves from the love of family or the love and affection of a spouse does that eventually lead to a sinister demeanor. Or more importantly is love essential to ones life beyond the companionship? Health wise does it really matter?

i'm not sure about the sinister part..altho it is quite possible. however, LOVE and affection is VITAL to a person's health!! it creates positive endorphins, gives natural high/adrenalin quite like drugs can do, which is why so many people are addicted to drugs when they don't have real love and support. just as stress and frustration and hate and anger can lead to physical pain, headaches, disease, etc; sadness and depression can lead to heart break (some people do DIE from heart breaking); and happiness can HEAL people faster, make them feel stronger and healthier! the body is just as related to the mind, if u think u are sick, u can actually feel sick symptoms!!!

being able to love, and be loved, whether it is family or marriage, is a huge factor in a person's ability to grow as a person, and be strong in a society FULL of good and bad people. if u have a good support system, most likely you will be more resilient to the negative things that come up in life than someone who has no friends, no family, no ability to relate and understand people. to live in a society and have a bad grasp of social relationships, etc, will only lead to negative thoughts of yourself and others... it's important to build up ur confidence as a strong person, as well as be able to understand life in a positive way. u can't always choose what happens to you in life, but you can choose how you react and how you can understand/put up with/move on after those things happen.

Love is essential, but it's how you want it. I've known people where they never got married but enjoyed the love and company from people that they regard as a family or tight nit friendship. If you seclude yourself from people, that will effect and develop your sense of self and how you relate to people and yourself. I admit, Love can make you vulnerable and sensitive to many things surrounding you, but if you must isolate yourself from the world, you must have something that will devote yourself and spirit to a much higher meaning and purpose than yourself.

Do I mean something of a religious experience? Yes.

before you find something that will maintain and isolate yourself from the world at the same time, you must ask yourself why and if whatever problem that would make you isolate yourself, can be solved.

The act of running away rather than dealing with a problem can put you in a bad position EVEN if your surrounded by people.

Don't solve your problem by running away. Love is a painful thing, but also a rewarding experience.

Love goes hand in hand.

That depends. If they shut everyone out after a nasty breakup, then of course they're going to end up bitter - they ARE bitter right now and are giving the rest of the world no means to soothe their hurt.

On the other hand, there are still people out there who seek solitude because it helps them develop as spiritual beings - hermits and the like. They're trading the love of mortals for the love of their deity, and I would highly doubt they're "sinister" people - just people who aren't necessarily going to function well in society because they've been away from it for so long and probably forgotten how it "works".

Love of your family is very important but being secluded from it doesn't mean one would turn a sinister evil.

Possibly, but one thing it does do to you is, it makes you feel almost alien. Is that bad or just sad? i'm not sure.

When you're in love, you are happy and healthy,
If you are not in love or have noone then you are
mean and crabby as hell.
