Singles & Dating - 15 July 2006

There are two guys in my life that I like, both are totally sweet, honest gentlemen, but one never has time for me because he always is doing stuff for or with his parents and the other, I can never get ahold of because he's always out doing other things with his friends. I don't care if they have other women in their lives. I honestly don't care, but I'm not letting go of both of them. It's either one or the other. I had the first one over at my house today and he helped me babysit for an hour and I just absoulutly love spending time with him, but last weekend, while he was in Canada, I went to the pool with the second one and had a kickass time, but I haven't talked to him since then. Which one do I choose? Ten easy points to the person who gives me an answer and can send some sort of back up to why they answered that!!

I'm 14 years olds and am going into the 9th grade. i've had boyfriends b4, but my parents never knew about them. i really want to have a boyfriend that my parents will know about, so then we wont haft to sneak around. i've asked them about having a boyfriend b4, but they always said i had to wait until i am 16. but thats not gonna work. how can i talk my parents into letting me have a boyfriend? me and my girlfriend broke up a month ago and we are still good friends. recently we both said we like each other a little bit and one day this week, she came over and we basically did the stuff we did when we went out. it seemed as if we were on our way to go back out. later that night, she said that we can't do that stuff anymore because we don't go out. It's basically because we both are gonna talk to other people. I already know she talks to a lot of guys. It's hard to deal with her talking to my best friend all the time. I dont know, it's just hard for me to like her when she talks to so many other guys. i just don't what i should do considering we talk all the time, but i know she's doing the same things with other guys including one of my best friends. and i kno if they did become more than friends i would mad, but this is just something for me to get over.

I went out with this man the other day. He invites me for ice cream but when he gets in the shop he exclaims "Dang! This ice cream is expensive" then proceeds to ask me what I want. I was so put off by this that I said that I did not want anything and if I did get something I would buy it myself. He orders ice cream and proceeds to eat it and I started reading an assignment. He got mad, but I told him I'm not a gold digger. You obviously could not afford the ice cream. This all happened yesterday. Why would a grown (in his 30s) man do this?

Here's my story i see this girl every morning that works near my work place coffee shop, ive managed to start a convo once and she was nice, i wanted to ask her out or get at least her number but i dont wanna do it in front of her manager and other customers (coz thats a magnet for trouble) and i dont want her to think that im disrespecting her, i know she loves to read romantic books (coz i see her alot of times in the subway reading romantic books) so here's my plan... Im gonna buy a romantic book before i grab sum coffee at her work place and give her the book, tell her that she dropped her book in the subway (so that no one would think im flirting with her) write a note on the book saying "Ive always wanted to ask ur number but i dont want you to get into trouble, i never take my receipts but if u write ur number on the receipt next time i would take it with a smile and by the way consider this book a gift for making my mornings brighter than usual" so good or bad plan? thanks!

OK, I am not cheap idiot. I usually go all-out and spend the big bucks on my dates, however it is OBVIOUS that the girl I going to be going out with soon is not impressed by that.

So, I live in L.A. and I am trying to figure out what would be some absolutely drop dead romantic things to do in this city that don't involve a ton of cash. Obviously, walking on the beach is cliche and walking in the hills at night is dangerous.

So, any ideas?

Which of these do you think is more likely?
the girl I like spontaneously asking me out the next time I see her, or me buying a lottery ticket and winning £ 500? . Also a riddle.
