I went out with this man the other day. He invites me for ice cream but when he gets in the shop he exclaims "Dang! This ice cream is expensive" then proceeds to ask me what I want. I was so put off by this that I said that I did not want anything and if I did get something I would buy it myself. He orders ice cream and proceeds to eat it and I started reading an assignment. He got mad, but I told him I'm not a gold digger. You obviously could not afford the ice cream. This all happened yesterday. Why would a grown (in his 30s) man do this?

I should add, usually when we go on dates I pay for my items or I buy. He suggested we go for ice cream, not me. I have spent much more than $3.00 for his itmes and never said a word. I have watched him try to order everything off the menu and never cried. Where I am from, when we invite people out we pay no matter how much. If we can't pay we don't invite.
